This beautiful island home, is 100 feet from the beach, and will provide an amazing vacation experience. This beautiful 5,000 square foot home is located in Kona Bay Estates. Kona Bay Estates is an exclusive, small, gated-guarded community. The community is located on a rare lagoon with a sandy beach known for being safe for children, and which is usable year-round.
This three story home is ideally located in a private gated and guarded community within walking distance to town and is 100 feet from the beach. This home includes a pool, numerous lanais, garage, and a view of Kailua-Bay. Construction notice*- see below.
Keiki Beach Hale, built in 2003 with 5,000 square feet of living area, includes a large master bedroom with its own lanai, a walk-in open shower and large tub. The master bedroom also has its own TV and a King size bed. Two other bedrooms, one with king size and one with queen size bed, are located on the third floor as well. AC is provided in the bedrooms only.

The main floor includes a large modern kitchen with granite counter tops, bar, sitting area near kitchen, dining area on the enclosed lanai, living room, and a second large family room on the back lanai. There is one additional bedroom with a king size bed on the main floor as well. There are a total of 3.5 bathrooms throughout the home.

The lower floor level has an entertainment room with half kitchen with sink/microwave/refrigerator, and large screen TV. There are two sofa futons which can be used for additional sleeping. This room opens to the pool and has a full bath.
Kona Bay Estates is adjacent to community tennis courts, soccer fields, and the public gymnasium with a large pool.
*Please be advised that a home is currently being built on a lot across the street. Since this is a guarded gated private community the hours of construction are limited, the privacy has been maintained. Please contact us for further information or updates on the progress if you are interested in booking the property. The foundation has been poured and the framing will be completed soon. If you have never been to the Big Island, we are on the sunny side of the biggest island in Hawaii with the clearest blue water in the world. We have 80% of the Hawaiian land mass with 20% of the people. This property is located within walking distance of Famous Alii Drive and the Kona Pier. A great place to participate in the diversity of activities, shopping and fun dining in Kailua-Kona village.

This property was perfect for our group. We had 2 families with adult children (total of 10). Had plenty of room. No issues with noise from neighbors, park or construction during our stay. Lanai(s) were great. The location was good - 15 min. walk to town. The lagoon was wonderful for a quick dip. There were a few items for repair but the management company offered to have them correct immediately. We would recommend this location.

This review is mainly for Kona Coast Vacations as we are probably not typical tourists. The house was clean, as described, comfortable and well maintained. Its location is very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and the ocean. The vacation was marred by the very loud television of the small house to the south which ran 10 hours a day. After we extended our stay, we were told about the construction. We should have been told before. If the issue with the loud TV could be resolved, we would stay there again.

PS. We had a medical emergency during the trip. Our efforts to contact the concierge to point us in the right direction were not answered.

Keiki Beach only has one neighbor and we apologize that they were loud during your stay. We will monitor the noise levels and if it continues make a complaint to the board. We also apologize that you were unable to contact the concierge, we do provide guide books in the property with information regarding what to do in case of a medical emergency. Stayed 9 days in May, 2015
We vacationed with multiple families for 10 days this time. We had plenty of bedrooms and lots of space for everyone. We found that the home has a full sized wooden crib, rather than a pack-n-play. This is a handy bit of information for parents with an infant. We had 4 small children ages 5, 3 and 2 with us and they all navigated the stone floors and stairs with out any issue. Downside (for some) was there is no TV on the main floor so children had to watch TV in a bedroom or downstairs. The appliance are well used, but all were functional.

The Keki beach is a wonderful place for the small children to play in the sand and water. Its extremely sheltered and calm. The community is generally quiet, although new construction started during our stay.

House was great, clean and beautiful setting. It was noisy,homeless living on other side of back fence. Had to call security twice and then 911. Need to clean this up for the price we paid should not have to deal with 911 calls.

This expansive property is tucked away in a gated community (super friendly and professional security personnel at the gate), but still accessible by foot to shops, restaurant, and the pier. Our extended-family party had plenty of space with the four bedrooms and several living areas. The kitchen and pool areas were well-stocked with everything you could imagine needing. We had one (unforeseen) maintenance need, which was addressed promptly and professionally, to our satisfaction. I have already recommended this property to a friend, and I'd definitely stay again.
