Our private luxury home is located in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. This three story home is ideally located in a private gated and guarded community within walking distance to town and is 100 feet from the beach. This newly built home includes a pool, numerous lanais, garage, and a view of Kailua-Bay.

If you have never been to the Big Island, we are on the sunny side of the biggest island in Hawaii with the clearest blue water in the world. We have 80% of the Hawaiian land mass with 20% of the people. If you stay in the resorts at the north end of the island you will be isolated and miss all the diversity of activities and fun dining in Kailua-Kona village.

Kona Bay Estates is an exclusive, small, gated community with a security guard who patrols the neighborhood. The community is located on a rare lagoon with a sandy beach known for being safe for children, and which is usable year-round. (Other beaches are sometimes unusable because the sand washes offshore in the winter.) Kona Bay Estates is adjacent to community tennis courts, soccer fields, and the public gymnasium with a large pool.

Keiki Beach Hale, built in 2003 with 5,000 square feet of living area, includes a large master bedroom with its own lanai, a walk-in open shower and large tub. The master bedroom also has its own TV and a King size bed. Two other bedrooms, one with king size and one with queen size bed, are located on the third floor as well.

The main floor includes a large modern kitchen with granite counter tops, bar, sitting area near kitchen, dining area on the enclosed lanai, living room, and a second large family room on the back lanai. There is one additional bedroom with a king size bed on the main floor as well. There are a total of 3.5 bathrooms throughout the home.

The lower floor level has an entertainment room with half kitchen with sink/microwave/refrigerator, and large screen TV. There are two sofa futons which can be used for additional sleeping. This room opens to the pool and has a full bath.

AC is included, but the AC is ONLY in the bedrooms.

There is a 5 night minimum stay/10 during Ironman & Christmas season. This is a non-smoking, no pets property. Hawaii Tax ID: #W37464531-01

Keiki Beach was a perfect rental for our family of 6 adults and 5 children. There was lots of space for everyone and the location was very convenient to all stores. The lagoon across from the house was perfect swimming for all our little ones. Being in a gated community gave us a comforting sense of security.

This is a big home with lots of room for a family. Bummer is that it has room for more than the capacity of 8 people. Too bad the rules limit you to only 8. Other than the restrictive rules, great place. The pictures of the home don't show there is a private lanai in the master bedroom that overlooks the ocean. It is a great place for a couple to sit and relax, especially for sunrise or sunset.

Our reason for staying here was all about Ohana. This home allowed us to experience Ohana in its truest form. Very neat and clean, well appointed, close to beach, town and in a very secure gated environment. Office staff, Mackenzie, Suzanne, Kayla, Michelle all were very responding to every need, but more so, very concerned that our stay was pleasant. 6 Stars for this group.

This house had everything you might need for the beaches and pools. the pool table was a big hit and it's roomy enough for your own privacy as well. The neighbors are very pleasant. Remember to check in before buying things as this place has plenty. it was a plus having a washer and dryer but they took forever. I would rent this again.

Our group of 6 (including one 16 year old and one 2 and 1/2 year old) stayed at Beach House #6 over Christmas and New Year. It was our third time on Big Island, our first near Kona.
The location and amenities at the house were excellent. The ground floor lanai is a great place to chill, play pool or swim and play in the pool. There is a good supply of toys and beach towels although some toy are in need of replacement. The main floor is well furnished and equipped but the lack of AC (other than in the bedrooms) takes a little getting used to although both main floor lanai’s are great spaces. Bedrooms are good, especially the master with a great master en suite with a view of the ocean. Bed linens are adequate, pillows need upgrading in line with the high standard in the rest of the house. There are ample towels throughout the house.
The Kitchen is very well equipped although the stove burners take some getting used too.
The location close to the Keiki Beach and town is also excellent. The gated entrance provides for good safety. As others have noted, it is not the spot for complete quiet. The neighbour watches TV outside many hours a day and the nearby field is occasionally in use. However, with a toddler on board this is not a great concern.
The lack of an optional housekeeping service is a drawback compared to some other high end accommodation. The 11am check out is also quite early and was not great for us since we had a late flight home. While it is understandable that the house needs to be prepped for new arrivals, a 2pm check out would allow plenty of time for this to be completed.
Overall, in terms of location, luxury location and amenities, this house rates highly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other families.
