When you come to Hawaii you want to be on the ocean and be able to get into the water. Our luxury 3,070 square foot home is located on the most desireable beach in Kona. The soft, white sand beach is semi-private because of limited access and is within a small enclave that has 24 hour security. You just put on your bathing suit and walk out the door to either the beach or your private pool.
However, please be advised that a home is currently being built on the lot next door, the construction is now in a phase that produces minimal noise. Since this is a guarded gated private community the hours of construction are limited, while the views and privacy have been maintained. The home has three bedrooms, with the master bedroom located on the second floor with its own lanai. The bathroom has a jetted tub and walk-in shower. This bedroom is very large with a king size bed. The other two bedrooms are on the main floor, one with a queen, the other with a king bed. If needed, the livingroom sofa converts to a queen bed. The house can sleep up to eight people.
There are a total of three large lanais, one at pool level, the second at kitchen level, and the third off the master bedroom. The kitchen lanai has sweeping views of the coast line and the beach to watch your family and friends, and is perfect for enjoying mai tais at sunset. There is no better setting on the island.
The kitchen has a subzero refrigerator, microwave, ice maker and granite countertops.
Did I mention location? How about walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and tennis courts. Kona Bay Estates has some of the best preserved Hawaiian petroglyphs a short walk from the house.
