Casa de Emdeko, affectionately known as the 'Crown Jewel of the Kona Coast' is an oceanfront complex located on Alii Drive-One and a half miles south of the village of Kona and about ten miles south of the Kona International Airport (KOA). Casa unit # 133 is a one bedroom, ground floor, non-smoking, unit that sleeps two. It has central A/C and ceiling fans in each room. This condo is five units back from the ocean. With the living room opening onto the lanai and the beautiful tropical garden. You are just steps from the 2 swimming pools, cabana with gas grills, tables and chairs, and the ocean's edge. There are no stairs to climb and no waiting for the elevator. Palm trees, beautiful green lawns, tropical plants, and flowers abound throughout the complex. This is a non-smoking unit with a 2 person maximum. 3 night minimum, stay 10 during Christmas & Ironman season.

A clean but slightly dated peekaboo ocean view from lanai(large bush blocking most of the ocean).
Internet was slow but functional.
Lastly,the a/c was a nice touch to help sleep at night.
My only complaint was the constant opening and closing of the lanai sliding door in the unit above(every 5 minutes)
