This one bedroom corner condo is roomy enough for six people. Having a huge wrap-around lanai with a breakfast table and ocean view. Cable TV, VCR, and DVD are at your disposal for entertainment, although a walk along the waterfront is usually a much nicier way to spend your day on the Big Island of Hawaii. Take along the beach mats, and the cooler we have provided while you explore the many beaches on the Kona Coast. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, plus a queen futon, private lanai, and a large jetted tub in the master bath. With just a 5 minute walk to the local shops and restaurants, this makes it a perfect place to say while in Paradise. 7 night minimum stay during Ironman and Christmas season.

A great building, maybe not the best unit?
Judy B. from Springfield, OR recommends this property
Stayed 7 days in Mar, 2012
The unit we stayed in was well set up, with 1 bed and a futon in the spacious bedroom. It was clean and neat, and the kitchen was fairly well equipped. The location is quite central, so that we could walk to the historic Kailua area for sightseeing and shopping. The lanai wraps around, so there is a view toward Kailua harbor as well as a view "up-mountain". The shrubs outside were full of yellow flowers and lots of birds. There were a few drawbacks, however. There was noise every day from some remodeling going on outside the building, as well as from traffic on the street that goes by that part of the building. There is no elevator from the parking garage, only to the one in the next building, which required a little walking if you needed the elevator instead of the stairs. This is a two-bathroom unit, but one of the toilets wasn't working, and couldn't be repaired until the week after we left. So we had two bathrooms, minus one toilet. I would stay at Kona Pacific again, maybe just not in this unit, unless the construction/remodeling is complete.

Not bad for the price

This is the second year we've stayed at this property. It's a good size condo, nicely equiped, with two bathrooms and a comfortable king bed. The location is great, making for easy walks into town and the markets, and the reserved parking space under the condo is a nice feature. My only complaints are with maintenance issues that should be addressed to make it better. First and foremost is the weak water pressure, especially in both bathrooms. The smaller bathroom is nearly useless due to lack of water pressure and the master is slightly better. The sofa had a couple of torn cushions, which we turned over to hide the tears, and the living room carpet had a couple of stains and was lifting up in some areas.

Wonderful Condo

The condo was nice and well equiped. The king bed was very comfortable. Except for the condo facing a somewhat busy street, it is in a great location with easy walking distance to the heart of Kailua Kona, shopping and the waterfront. Undercover parking was also a nice feature.

What a time we had! - Feb.10 to Mar.12, 2010!

We were celebrating our 50th anniv. Mar.4/10 and wanted a place we could have family members visit at various times throughout the month. We began our search last summer and narrowed it down to the Kona Pacific as the best suited unit for our needs - E727. Kona Coast Vacations were very helpful and answered all our questions, helping us make our decision. The owners were very co-operative as well, with our needs for extra guests and even discounted because we were staying the full month. Our anniv. celebration was great and the icing on the cake was the surprise (to her) engagement of our oldest granddaughter on her last weekend there, when her boyfriend arrived, and proposed the next day at Pololu Valley on the black sand beach! How wonderful is that?!! The location of Kona Pacific is perfect with easy walking to everything we enjoyed. Everytime we walked out the door we were amazed at the beauty and the great job that is done in keeping trees and grass trimmed and walkways clean, etc. It is a full time work in progress and we so appreciated all their efforts. We were delighted to be right across the street from YWAM's Univ.of the Nations as we have been there previously. We were also able to obtain a room there for some overflow accomodation a couple times during our month. The apt. was very comfortable and well equipped - even a dishwasher and blender, rice cooker and coffee grinder and microwave in the kitchen. Two TV's so we were able to watch the 2010 Winter Olympics (we live near Vancouver BC, the host city) and we were excited that Canada won 14 gold medals, including Men's and women's hockey! Go Canada Go! In-suite washer & dryer was great and the beach towels & various items too. Internet was a plus too. Our family was delighted with the place as well - the large wrap-around lanai with huge windows and the 2nd lanai in the bedroom! Couldn't ask for more. We love your Island and our family does too.

This was the perfect location for out three generation family stay.
Linda H. from Springfield, OR recommends this property

This property was in the perfect location for our family. We were able to visit and relax plus there were places for shopping and swimming to get away without needing a second car. The accomadations were comfortable, spacious, clean, and well equipped. The grandkids were especially thrilled with the swimming pool. Thanks for the great stay.
