highly recommend this complex and unit. cockroaches were a little off putting, but what the heck, you are in the tropics. otherwise, spotless and a swell time.

Chris took care of our problems-----wrong code for lock box and no hair dryer. TV wasn't working the last night but we reported it. Loved the saltwater pool and swam laps every day in it! Floor in entry area was a little worn so very first impression was not good but we quickly walked through the rest of the condo and changed our mind!

The complex is friendly, well maintained and conveniently located. The condo is close enough to shopping and right on the water. And, what fun to have a salt water pool. I would not call it a gourmet kitchen by any stretch of the imagination, but, for the most part, what you need for simple meals is available. The property managers are the BEST. They are immediately responsive to any needs and very pleasant and easy to work with both during the rental process, while arranging your vacation, and and during your stay itself. The new TV is great and the living room furniture comfortable, as is the bed in the master (can't say about the other bedroom, as we did not use). There is limited space for hanging items, as the closets are jammed with the owner's things. All in all, it is a very acceptable vacation rental, with exceptionally good support from the property management. Have fun!

This condo is in need of a resurfacing. But the location, grounds and atmosphere in Casa de Emdeko are top notch. An easy walk to town. Go to sleep with the roar of the surf, a lovely salt water pool on the ocean, a relaxed friendly atmosphere all made our stay enjoyable. I'm told by residents that the building is falling apart from the inside out, an expensive proposition for owners but it only appears a little shabby to renters. The walls are thick and even in our 1st floor condo we were never bothered by overhead tenants. Overall a reasonable value and pleasant stay.
