From your unit you are a short walk to shopping, dining and a large Cineplex theater complex. Kahalu'u Beach,the best snorkeling beach in the islands is just minutes away.This 3/2 unit is perfect for a family enjoying time on the Big Island of Hawaii. Lots of room and a short distance to many local activities. 3 Night minimum stay / 7 night minimum during Ironman and Christmas season.

Great place. For long stays the kitchen amenities could be better. The dishwater should be replaced with lighter and something not so heavy, The two size bowls could be given to the humane society for dog dishes. Cookware could be upgraded. I forget that it's an old unit that has not been upgraded. All aside we really enjoyed our stay.

The place is also called Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet. Unit 37 is a townhome just to the left of #9 in the link below: . Very clean and well maintained, with responsive owners. Great location. However, if you are a light sleeper, you must know that the master bedroom faces Allii Dr., which unfortunately is noisy from early in the morning through late at night. The other bedrooms dont have this issue though.

Our vacation was awesome mostly due to the Surf and Racquet club and its amenities. The pool area, BBQ's and lounging areas were all top notch. We enjoyed our unit and knew it wasn't oceanside but would love to try an oceanside unit next time. The pounding surf was awesome both day and night. We really liked being close to Turtle Beach and could pop down for a quick snorkel whenever. The Surf and Racquet club is also close to Farmers Markets, drugstore and other shops. Highly recommend this complex. Unit #37 was exactly as described. It was certainly adequate for our December stay. In hotter times, it might have been nice to have AC but overall we enjoyed the unit especially our gecko visitors. This unit does tend to have some road noise due to its location within the complex. This made sleeping in the upstairs bedrooms difficult and if air conditioning was installed, this would help to alleviate the road noise.
