The Casa de Emdeko is located just 1.5 miles from downtown Kona & away from traffic noise. It overlooks a very quiet, tropical courtyard that leads to 2 great pools, a sandy man made beach area, & 3 ocean side great for cooking the fresh fish we have in Kona. This kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots and pans, coffee pot, blender and toaster. If you need to do laundry while you are visiting, there is a large laundry facility at the Casa de Emdeko. If you're looking for a peaceful vacation hideaway, or a place to unwind after a full day of fun island activities, this condo is for you. It's perfect for couples wanting a quiet retreat or a family of four. It is truly paradise found! 3 night minimum stay/10 during Ironman & Christmas season. This a non-smoking unit.

Great condo complex! Would definitely stay again!

We spent 8 nights at Casa De Emdeko 202. The grounds were perfect. We spent quite a few days just hanging by the saltwater pool and manmade beach on the property. We used the very nearby convenience store/liquor store a couple times, but only in a pinch as it was expensive. The property itself (202) was outdated and could certainly use some updating. The most disturbing thing was that the faucet in the tub was rusted! You must replace that. Also, the location of the condo is probably one of the worst locations in the complex. It's in the far back - away from the ocean - and you look right out to the open lobby and they can see right in. Now, all this being said, we still had an amazing time. However, next time, we will book a condo closer to the ocean and one that looks more updated. Of course, the price was right for this place. Just under $100/night before taxes! We will be back!

The property was very comfortable. Hot tub and extra that was enjoyed and very clean. All the necessary household appliances to make our stay comfortable were supplied. Could use a larger new bar-b-que but what was supplied worked well enough for our stay. Management were professional and helpful with suggestions for touring. Totally Enjoyable.

We were pleased with all aspects of the location, including its condition and cleanliness. We did have a problem in getting the lock box open and had to call the manager of the unit to come to help.

Re lock box, problem was you had to push each number hard enough to hear a click. That was not in the instructions.

For some reason the manager of the overall resort planned to turn off the water from 9:00 am to noon on the day we were leaving. As we had to be out by 11:00 am this inhibited our activities that morning. Surely the day of the turnoff could have been any other day that the day of normal turnover.
