  Very comfortable setting. Very quiet and respectful fellow tennants. The comforts and resourses of your own home. Great way to save money by cooking in your own fully equipped condo. Perfectly just a few blocks away from downtown. If I ever travel back to Kona I will stay at Casa De Emdeko again.

  For me, this is all I needed. Clean, had everything (towels,dishes,wireless internet), hear and see the ocean from living room, cool salt water pool, and fresh water pool. The property also had a small market at the entrance which is really convenient. Property is about 1.25 miles from the south end of Kona (which has a cluster of the better restaurants), 2 miles from the pier. Stayed here during the Ironman and worked great for my needs.

  I never met the property manager. Our keys were in a lock box. We loved Casa. We are returning this year for three weeks. My sister and her husband our joining us for two weeks. They are also renting at Casa based on our recommendations.

  I have stayed at this site several times over the years. Kona Coast was a very helpful company but does not allow much leaway for a few hours late departure even for repeat customers. Be prepared to pay for short overstay and a very high price for lost key.

  This unit was very nice, well equipped. and I like that it had a tv in the bedroom, and living room, and the internet. A good feature is that you can enter the bathroom from both bedrm or Hallway. Only downside is no tub but I guess most of the 1 bedrms are like that.
  I'm going again! Absolutely love the property grounds and the salt water pool.
  Very nice complex. Quiet.

  I truly enjoyed my stay. The interior of the condo was terrific. The stairs and outside area would have been nicer if plants were in the planters outside the second and third floor. The planters looked really bad.

  The only complaint I have is air conditioning was not sufficent in bathroom and bedroom. Otherwise the place was clean, great view, and very homey...we can't wait to come back again!!!

  Everything about the acation was wonderful, except when some people arrived in 232and would smoke on the lanai. They arrived sometime after Dec 21. There was a sign onthere doorthank you for not smoking. It wasunpleasantwhen we were sitting on our lanai.

  We really enjoyed our vacation in Kona. On a poor day the forecast high was 61 and on a good day the high was 82. The Casa de Emdeko was a great place to stay and allowed us to have the most restful vacation ever. Some of the living room furniture in this unit needs to be updated.

  Just returned from Casa de Emdeko. We had a wonderful stay. Our only suggestion to the owner would be a ceiling fan on the lanai would be nice. Between 9am and 4 pm it was very hot out there even with the shades pulled down.
