  We love Casa de Emdeko and this unit is great. Wonderful decor especially. We did notice a very strong, unpleasant smell, however. And it never went away, even with windows open. Smelled like mildew or wet carpet. Also, there is no washer/dryer available in the unit, which is a bummer for those of us staying a long time. I think this might account for the wet/mildew smell: all those visitors having to hang wet bathing suits/towels INSIDE the unit (hanging wet stuff on the lanai is against the rules). Otherwise the unit was great--probably the nicest we've had there.

  Although it seemed really clean it really smelled bad. We had to light candles and keep the doors open most of the time. Overall once you got past the smell it was a great location and very comfortable.

  We really liked this condo. It was close to everything without being in the heavy traffic area. It's only draw back, for us was it was very small in the living room area for four, Our boy's futon was too small for them and there really wasn't a comfortable way for four to watch TV. We were so busy, that watching TV was not a big issue for us.
