A great unit and well equipped for two people. The condo and the complex were well laid out. We will definitely consider the Alii Villas for a future stay. If you are mobility challenged, consider a lower floor because there are no elevators.

Lovely Views From the Condo!

Location and property is amazing. So close to shops and restaurants. Lovely place to have dinner and breakfast on the lanai. The place is clean and a sufficient amount of supplies are included. Bed was comfortable and it was nice to have the air conditioning even though it is a bit nosy. We really enjoyed our stay there. We will miss the lovely ocean view breakfast every morning.

Clean and convenient location, not far from town. Ocean view balcony is nice with sunset. Follow the driving direction from the owner instead GPS, we were able to get to the place even after dark.

Interior Could Use a Major Upgrade

Stayed here with my wife for 7 days. Good things about this place were the location, ease of parking, washer/dryer, and fairly good privacy. The not-so-good things about this place included infestation of ants (requiring us to contact property manager..who was responsive), very loud portable air conditioners (good luck trying to fall asleep while running), poor quality of drinking water, old and tired furniture, including the mattress. Bottom line, the building is fine but the interior could use a major upgrade.

We are in the process of setting up additional pest control. We assessed the furniture and found that it’s in good condition, besides some wear on the dining room chairs. The mattress is about 5 years old and after assessing it, we do not feel like it needs to be replaced at this time but will continue to monitor future feedback. We recognize that everyone has different preferences when it comes to a mattress. There is also a Brita water dispenser in the refrigerator to filter water if you don't care for the tap water. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay & hope that we can welcome you again.

Perfect For our Family

Alii Villas 324, was perfect for our family! We could not believe how clean the inside of our condo was and the entire property looked fantastic. We could not find a speck of dust or sand in the entire unit. Special thanks to Malaki Cleaning Services for making the unit so inviting. We have stayed at some pretty rough places and so coming to Kona and looking forward to come home each night after a long day on the Big Island was just what we needed. We felt spoiled to have David help us as soon as we booked our stay. It was like an added bonus and the value we saved on the condo and all other activities was HUGE. We loved the Brita water dispenser, the A/C units worked great, the Closet in the bedroom was so big and the views of the ocean on the Lanai were spectacular. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the awesome customer service provided to help us create a lifetime memory. We wish we would have stayed longer! We would highly recommend Kona Coast Vacations to any family or friends and definitely use them again when returning to the Big Island!

Beautiful view from the balcony. We were sad to leave. Just be prepared to haul the luggage up to the third floor as there are no elevators if you have any mobility issues. The concierge system was amazing and they were very helpful when the email photo of the buildings didn't match the building number on the address. Once that was straightened out, everything else was smooth sailing. Quiet community. The shared grill space was good. Pool and grounds are very well kept. The evenings down by the water to watch the sunset were lovely as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Working away in Kona

We were in #324, Alii Villas for 3 weeks in May. The apartment was lovely and so well stocked with really nice kitchen appliances and tools. Name brand stuff, not the usual Dollar Store things that I have found in other rentals. Bed was good, sheets were soft and there were plenty of towels. The view from the lanai was spectacular. My coffee and the ocean make the perfect combination. We were actually in Kona on a working vacation so this made a lovely home to come back to after "work" each day. There was a sunset crew down by the water each evening to search for the green flash. Oh and the pool was beautiful, small, but so well cared for. Many times I had it to myself. I had a small issue working the TV. Turned out I had an old channel list. Kona Coast, who manages the property, sent someone over to get it straight. They were responsive to all my questions. I would definitely use them again to stay in Kona.

We always enjoy Kona and have stayed in this apartment for 2, 4 week stays 2018 and 2019. We are anticipating returning to Kona next year. 324 is a nicely situated unit. We like the view. The bathroom is becoming rather antiquated and could use some renewal. The tub and sink are losing their luster and the sliding tub enclosure is a little shabby. It would be appreciated if month long rentals like our received some consideration. ( such as a late check out) We maintain the condo ourselves, cleaning and changing the linen as we stay. This is a benefit to the owner. The experience with Kona Coast has been positive and you are easy to deal with and straight forward. Since you asked for feed back, I'm taking the opportunity to provide some.

I would definitely choose this again. The community is friendly and the location is awesome. If you like to walk you would not need a car and you have awesome snorkeling right off the back of the property. The unit was clean, well apportioned and well maintained. Staff was friendly and communicated well on what to expect. All amenities were as expected.

The entire grounds are well kept and the pool is really nice. They even have a nice bbq area. Kona Coast Vacations were easy to work with. They were very responsive and helpful. Nice quiet clean condo

In general the condo was well equipped and very quiet/clean. Kitchen had lots of items and a good sized fridge and some cooler ice blocks. There is a large TV WIFI signal and speed was perfectly fine for browsing and was reliable. Very large walk in closet in the bedroom Huge amount of extra towels and bedding if needed plus several beach towels. Nice large balcony that gets the sun in the morning – perfect for breakfast time. Parking space is directly next to and in front of the condo Condo complex grounds were amazingly clean and very well maintained Note that it is a brisk 20 minute walk to the waterfront bar/restaurant area, otherwise lots of taxi/uber is available for about $7 The things we missed when compared to other condos we have rented were some basic items such as salt/pepper/spices and small packet of coffee/tea (we bought some for our stay and left it for the next guest). Condo has some simple beach items instead of the "standard" tommy Bahama chairs and umbrella that we had everywhere else but it still works. The small push in umbrella needs a lot more work on most beaches and as a result the top is damaged where someone has tried to hammer it into the ground. There is also a small playmate igloo cooler but it’s the very small 6 pack cooler so don’t expect to fit too much in We were happy with the condo and would have no hesitation to rent the same condo again.
