We stayed in a beautiful unit through Kona Coast Vacations in March of this year, 2024. It was located in the Mauna Lani Golf Villas and could NOT have been more perfect. Our 2 bed, 2 bath unit was close to amazing beaches (we loved the private beach that came with our rental, along with nearby Hapuna Beach). The golf villas private pool and hot tub was also directly out our back patio - a super bonus for our kids! David, the concierge that works with you through Kona Coast Vacations, was also extremely helpful and easily accessible. Cannot say enough good things! We will certainly book with them again on our next visit to the Big Island.

Unit was very comfortable and clean. Very disappointed that swimming pool and hot tub not available for our entire stay and noise from that pool repair was distracting. We were given a 20 percent refund for this, but it should have been emphasized in the listing in HUGE Print the dates pool would be not available. We did very much enjoy the Beach Club however, and the ocean felt wonderful!

Clean and well maintained property very close to pool and gym. Really enjoyed beach club and access to the Black Sand Beach #49. Best “stocked” place we've ever stayed with hate, chairs, snorkeling gear, fins, 2 sets of golf clubs, coolers and much more. Made the trip easy with no need to buy or rent beach items. Would like to discuss 2 month rental with owner for 2025 Feb-March. Mahali!

Wonderful Trip

We had a wonderful trip at the Mauna Lani Golf Villas Q2. The 2 bedrooms are located on each end of the condo and provide lots of privacy. The bedroom closest to the lanai had an en suite bathroom, while the bedroom closest to the entry had a bathroom located outside the bedroom. Both bedrooms were small but adequate for 2 couples. A negative of the master bedroom is that there are insufficient drawers in the master bedroom, and we had to hang everything up in the closet, while the other bedroom offered many drawers in a large dresser. The best part of the Golf Villas is the surrounding pool and landscape. It is a beautiful complex. It is well-tended, and the pool and the sauna are terrific. We had all our meals outside on the lanai as the weather was perfect. As indicated, the condo is on the ground floor, and you can hear the people above. We only heard people one night, and the remainder of our trip was quiet. Lots of beach supplies. Boogie boards, cooler, etc. When we return to the Big Island, we plan to stay at the Golf Vilas.

We definitely will be back.

Truly exceptional vacation

This was a truly exceptional vacation with my kids - not one single issue with our Hawaii home .Everything was in perfect shape and all the items we needed were available . I would strongly recommend our unit . And as a bonus - we were able to quickly ride everywhere. Also we saw the volcano up close before it started back where it came from .

Great location..great beach nearby. Problem is the unit is next to a 2 story unit and the upstairs of that unit is above this one and the walking of adults and running of children noise is terrible. The tvs all need updated hardware..very difficult to get to work. It is nice and clean however.

The tanks appeared to be empty although we were told they were full! No clear instructions on how to operate the bbq. Loved this area, and we would not hesitate to recommend!!

Condo was great and in a beautiful spot. Literally steps to the salt water pool. Short drive to the private beach. This particular unit (Q2) had 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, some snorkel gear, and coolers in the garage. 35ish minute drive to Kona. 2 hour drive to Volcanos National Park. Check-in/Check-out was seamless. I showed up and the door code worked. They just ask that you throw the trash in the dumpster and run the dishwasher on your way out. 10/10 will rent again when/if we come back to Hawaii.

We loved our stay at this beautiful unit!! Wonderful location near the pool. Had some trouble with the dryer working efficiently. - Property managers were very responsive to immediately helping and fixing a problem that came up. If the water heater can be adjusted to heat shower water more quickly, less water will be wasted. Also, I would hope that a drop off bin on the property for all units, maybe near the trash, for recycling can be set up and the managers or home owners association of the golf villas arrange to pay someone, maybe one of the gardeners, to take recycling to the nearby Puako recycling once or twice a week to help keep Hawaii beautiful. We love and highly recommend the golf villas. We had our family staying in other units and it's a terrific place for families and kids!

This is a very comfortable condo, close to the pool.Very clean and private. I have stayed at the Mauni Lani resort three times now, and highly recommend it. Our family of four from Virginia visited this beautiful property over Thanksgiving. We had a fabulous time. The location is wonderful! Extremely comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and the garage contains everything you need for a day at the beach! The tranquil pool is literally in your backyard, as is the fitness center. We spent hours at the pool relaxing and enjoying the wonderful weather. The shops and restaurants near by are great as well. The petroglyphs park at the other end of the property is a perfect place to catch the sunset. Thank you for a perfect vacation! We'll definitely be back.

Our first “post covid” travel experience was to Q2 golf villas at mauna lani. everything we expected and better. the property was clean and first rate. checkin seamless and concierge responded promptly to our requests. location of unit, close to pool as advertised, was ideal and pool area was awesome. private, well maintained. we came with another couple this time (condo perfect for two couples). and are planning a trip for next year and want to bring our young grandchildren. complex quiet and clean. have travelled a lot and this was top of list! well done and thanks.

Great spot but a bit far from Kona. If you are looking for a secluded beach vacation this is a great spot. If you want lots of shops and things to do you may want to stay in Kona. Not much happening in Waimea.
