We had a lovely time on the Big Island and in our condo rental at Hali’i Kai 8C. We have rented in many different condo complexes in the Waikoloa Beach Resort, but 8C had the best view by far! We spent many hours on the patio watching golfers, ocean splash, sunsets, and even whales. We appreciated the owners membership rate at the golf course and played there three times. The condo had everything we needed, it was a perfect vacation spot. The pool and restaurant in the complex added to the experience as well. The complex was quiet, and nicely landscaped. We would recommend Hali’i Kai and unit 8C.

Beautiful location and the golf membership was great! The condo is good sized for a couple, little small if sharing with two couples. We were surprised by the $25 daily resort fee and felt it should have been included in the upfront cost.

This is my third trip to this lovely place. It is so comfortable with all the amenities plus! I loved boogie boarding at Hapuna with the supplied boards, hiking in the cloud forest, and malasada’s at Tex’s in Honoka’a. I look forward to my next trip here in October! Love the jacuzzi with the sand bottom and the best Mai Tai’s and crispy green beans (try them) at the Ocean Club. Also, no trip is complete for me until I eat at Lava Lava Beach Club at sunset. My husband and I had our honeymoon here 10 years ago. we came again when our first daughter Summer was almost 1. She took her first steps here on the grounds. This trip we were able to bring both of our daughters (16) and (4) which was a dream come true. We caught a 200 lb. Marlin, hit the jungle, went Manta Ray diving, went to a luau-the list goes on. Honestly the most memorable part, may have been our time spent at the pool eating grilled cheese and watching the sunset.

We have been to the islands 27 times. The Big Island is out favorite and Hali'i Kai is out favorite place to stay. This is the first time in 8C. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the closet full of "toys" and beach chairs. It was awesome! Another bonus was the discount for golf!

FYI you cannot bring your own food or drink to the pool area. Poll area was very v leans and well maintained. Staff was great! Condo was ground floor with grass outside. Easy walk to the pool area. We really enjoyed our stay at Hali'i Kai 8C. The space is perfect for 4 adults or a small family at most. Would say the photos don't do the lanai justice, the view was wonderful. We must have lucked out as unit 8 was super quiet the week we were there. Comfy king size bed, super clean, well-stocked kitchen. Living room furniture is also comfy and the whole space just allows you to relax. Plenty of beach amenities (chairs/towels/coolers/umbrella/etc). The pool was nice as was the restaurant, again, maybe we went on a slow week but there were plenty of chairs and the staff was super friendly. There is a $25/day resort fee that you pay when you arrive and check in, it is NOT included the fees paid through VRBO. Also no outside food/drink in the pool area. Still, the area is really well maintained and the pool is great, so worth it, IMO. Will definitely try to book this place again if we're able to in the future!

We just returned from staying a week at Hali'i Kai unit 8C, and I have nothing but great things to say about the unit and property. If you are looking for a gorgeous, spacious property that gets you away from the crowded cookie-cutter hotel norm, I would highly recommend this property. The property is beautifully maintained with gorgeous ocean views, it is serene and the perfect place to unplug and relax. Imagine waking up in the morning, sitting on the lanai with an incredible view of the ocean, drinking coffee, and planning your amazing day. In the evening the unit has the most perfect view of the sun setting right in front of you, your pictures of the pink and purple sky will be amazing! The nearby shops and restaurants are so convenient as well.
Our unit 8C was super clean, updated, impeccably maintained, and had a great setup for families or couples. It is very accommodating with all sorts of supplies you would need from the kitchen to the beach, they have thought of everything! It has gorgeous décor and is very beautiful inside, you can tell the hosts have put in a lot of thought to making your stay perfect. Having access to so many convenient amenities such as the in-unit washer/dryer, pool and hot tub, exercise room, and restaurant/bar is amazing. And have I mentioned the views? 8C has perfect ocean views, I could have sat outside all day just soaking in the unobstructed views of the ocean. Do not wait, book your perfect stay!!!

We recently had the pleasure of staying in beautiful Halii Kai 8C condo and I must say it was truly an unforgettable experience. The condo was located in a prime location and provided breathtaking views of the golf course, ocean, and the island's natural beauty.
The unit was spacious, clean, and wonderfully decorated with all the amenities we needed. There was even a closet with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, tennis racquets, and pickleball paddles! I can't tell you how great it was to have all those items available to us. It really enhanced the overall experience.
The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our food, and the dining area was perfect for enjoying our meals together.
One of the highlights of the condo was the lanai, which provided stunning views. We spent many hours relaxing on the lanai, enjoying the birds, walking on the soft manicured grass, soaking in the sun and the islands spectacular sunsets.
Another highlight was the Ocean Club on property. What a treat to have a full-service bar and restaurant, only a short walk away from the condo. The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunsets … and the food was absolutely delicious!
The condo is conveniently located near wonderful attractions including beaches, restaurants and shopping.
Overall, our stay in 8C was truly an unforgettable experience. The comfortable and beautiful accommodations, breathtaking views and prime location made for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation experience on the Big Island.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary on the 30th during our 1st time on the Big Island. Spectacular is an understatement. Already planning to be back here to the wonderful 8C Hali'i Kai home you've shared with us. Loved 49 Black Sands Beach in Mauni Lani area – fabulous snorkeling! On the night Manta Rays with Fair Winds – it was awesome. Every food and drink item here was delicious and you're treated like Ohana! My husband could eat the fish tacos daily.

This is the second year in a row staying here and definitely won't be our last. The condo is comfortable and has everything we need from kitchen supplies to beach supplies. The complex is also great with a workout room, tennis, putting green, pickleball & restaurant. The best part is watching the sunrise and set everyday from the lanai. Amazing & peaceful!
We recommend using the Kona Concierge to book adventures. We did the Umauma Zipline which we highly recommend. So much fun for our family! We also went to the astronomy center in Hilo and Hapuna Beach. For food try Aloha Mondays in Hilo, Gypsy Gelato, both have rotating menus.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful space. We love our time here at the Hali’i Kai and especially your vacation property. The views from the lanai were incredible and we enjoyed the sunsets every night after a busy day (usually at the pool) with the kids. It’s our third time to the island and the complex and this by far was our most favorite stay. You literally thought of everything and it felt a bit like home, not to mention was spotless! Next time we come back to the island, we will absolutely be looking to stay in your beautiful condo again.

Your condo is just beautiful! The sunsets on the lanai are incredible. Very thoughtful to have the cooler, beach chairs, etc. all available to us. Great stay at Halii Kai 8c. Lovely unit - had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay for a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 preteens. The snorkels and boogie boards were a bonus. View was amazing of the golf course and ocean in the distance. We enjoyed the feral cats and nenes that made our lanai home every morning! Only suggestion would be to upgrade the washer and dryer - they are a bit rusty and left stains on our clothes and also were very very loud! Halii Kai has a beautiful pool and the restaurant serves great food with friendly service and great views of the sunset. All in all a great stay and will definitely come back one day.

The property was beautiful (even better than the pictures)! the condo was so clean and well equipped and the property manager was so easy to deal with and had great communication. we have stayed in other units within the Hali'i Kai complex and this was by far the best. It was a short walk to the pool/restaurant and the lanai was the perfect place to have your morning coffee, read or enjoy the unobstructed view of the sunset. We will definitely look to rebook next time we are on the big island!

This place had it all! Great views of the ocean, with all the amenities. Walking distance to the clubhouse and pool. Super clean and quiet. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay at Hali'i Kai.

We had a wonderful stay. The pics and views don't do the place justice. The condo was so comfortable and home-like. And stocked with anything and everything you need including beach and pool stuff for adults and kids. (Chairs, boogie boards, coolers, etc) We will be back for sure!

The condo is incredibly convenient to Waikoloa shops and restaurants. The condo is clean and comfortable. The resort restaurant is a phenomenal place to have dinner and watch the sunset. The only drawback is the resort office and check-in process. Give yourself 30-45 minutes of standing in the hot sun before you get your parking pass and access card. We are definitely coming back

Overall a wonderful stay. Furnishings and beds were very comfortable. We would have rearranged the furniture placement to take better advantage of the lovely view from the sofa. The pool and on-site restaurant were delightful and monitored by staff to Note that the primary bedroom TV was streaming only - not very satisfactory if you like to view TV from bed.

Property has many amenities. Well stocked with beach gear like boogie boards, mats, beach chairs. Site did have restaurant and bar closed a couple of days which was a bummer when using the pool. Would stay again.

This property was very clean, a top priority for me. The location was great. We enjoyed the ocean view from the inside and outside of the property. The Ocean Club staff and food were top notch, also a perfect walking distance from the unit. One minor disappointment was we didn't realize no “first morning” coffee supplies so we had to go back out to the store. Kitchen had utensils etc but you need to supply your own food wrap. None was provided. Would love to return and enjoy again.

Stayed in condo May 2022. Great location, very clean and well appointed kitchen down to a coffee grinder! Nice touch for when you purchase coffee on a tour. Home is close to community pool, club house which has great service and food. Absolutely would stay again Check in time to get pool access card was off, but this was due to Covid staffing.

Your condo is just beautiful! The sunsets on the lanai are incredible . We enjoyed the pool and restaurant, and the Mai Tai's for happy hour! Also, the golf was great too. Thanks for the great golf rates through your membership. we loved it so much we decided this is our favorite island and we will be back! Mahalo!

Cant Imagine a nicer place to spend a Hawaiian Holiday. The golf course is beautiful, the lanai offers a great place for morning coffee and sunset viewings, and the club and pool is relaxing. Can't wait to visit again. Mahalo!
