The house and grounds were beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, which is wonderful when you're traveling with 9 people! The view was amazing. We loved the pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!!

My group stayed 8 nights at Kawena 5. The property location is super convenient to shopping and activities around Kona, but in a great location where there isn’t a lot of noise from traffic. The property itself was amazing. Great sized bathrooms and bedrooms with plenty of areas to gather as a group. The pool and hot tub were amazing for us on our trip. The kitchen was outfitted nicely with plenty of plates, glasses and cookware to make our meals. The whole property was amazing and we’d definitely stay here in the future.

The house is just amazing. The views are beautiful, neighborhood is safe and lots of animals around.The kitchen has everything you would need. The 5 bedrooms all have AC and were very comfortable. Our grandkids just loved the pool and hot tub. We just loved the location of the house, easy access to highway and stores were close by. Will for sure stay there again

Great location to Kona. House was lovely. Plenty of room for people to socialize or have time to themselves. Kitchen is well stocked and we found the layout easy for several people to be working in the kitchen at once. While not really a complaint, one thing that might be a nice improvement would be cushions on the lounge chairs by the pool. We totally enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back to this house.

We stayed here with 9 people and had plenty of room for everyone. The pool and spa were wonderful and the sunsets from the patio and balcony were a delight every night. The house is well stocked for those who, like us, cooked most of our meals. The location is a short 5 minute drive to the farmer's market and downtown shopping. Major retail stores like costco, walmart, and safeway were only 10 minutes away. Overall it was a fantastic place for a family vacation on a semi-private drive with little traffic.

We had a wonderful time in Kona for our family vacation! We had 8 adults (2 parents 6 grown kids), rooms worked out well with 5 bdrm 5 bathrooms :). The hot tub was great for the evenings after a day of activities. Great location, easy to get to beaches to snorkel and relax. We rented 2 cars, parking was safe and easy. New Grill was wonderful! Well stocked kitchen for cooking and serving meals.

The home was perfect for our week stay in Kona! The house was clean & spacious. The pool, view from the pool and location close in to Kona was also perfect. The kitchen and bar area was well stocked with all the essentials including glassware and plastic poolside dishware. Beds and linens were comfortable. We would come back to this home and have already recommended the home to friends. We also appreciated the welcome basket upon arrival and the excellent communication from your staff before checkin!

Kailua Kona did not disappoint. From the time we stepped off the plane until we left, we had a great vacation. Kona Coast Vacations made our vacation seamless. Communication was great, David, our concierge made great recommendations. We have stayed in many vacation homes over the years, this was the best equipped homes. There were several places to gather, but also several to enjoy some alone time. We enjoyed the several fruit trees on the property and the sunsets were worth the wait every night. The location of the property made it convenient to get to wherever you wanted to go or whatever you wanted to do. Thank you Kona Coast vacations.

The house sets up well for a multi generational family with lots of sleeping options. Rest of house is breezy enough. Wonderful pool. Pretty neighborhood. 10 minute drive to downtown Kona.
Just a warning...there are feral cats all over the place. Do not feed them. Big mistake. This problem is not exclusive to the house. They are all over the island.

The house had everything we needed for our stay with 7 guests. It was in the perfect location, convenient to stores, restaurants and the airport. The neighborhood and view were incredible. David our concierge was amazing! We were able to book several activities and he helped us rebook two things last minute after one place canceled. Everyone was very pleased, and we would stay again.

we rented a 5 bedroom home In Keauhou estates. the home was absolutely perfect. it had a great layout for our large group of 9. the kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home and enjoy meals on the Lanai. the view was stunning and sunsets were amazing each evening. we were close to the store and restaurants and everything really. laundry was convenient in the house- beautifully landscaped with tropical plants- it is a truly idyllic home. do not hesitate to book- beds were very comfortable - they supply towels, shampoo, conditioner etc. They were very responsive when we had an issue. so much nicer than staying at a resort..... 10/10

Location is nice for everything on the Kona side (beaches, town, marina), but it is a hike to get to black sand beach, volcanoes NP and Hilo from here. Loved every minute- would highly recommend.

We loved our stay, everything about the house was as described. The only issue we had was one of the bedrooms had no shower pressure which we had to just not use the shower. We will book it again when we go!!

The house was wonderful. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The beds were comfy and air conditioning led to refreshing sleep. There is a cook's kitchen with ample utensils, bowls, and specialty pans to make anything you want to make. The pots and pans were new and all appliances were updated. In addition to a large fridge in the kitchen they have another fridge in the breakfast area which we used as a beverage fridge. The house was well stocked. We had plenty of paper towels, laundry soap, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc. for our 2 week stay. The outside is wonderful. The pool and hot tub were clean and in good working order. There is an abundance of seating options to sun bath or enjoy the incredible views. We ate all meals outside on the large table on the covered patio. There is an additional patio area upstairs that is wonderful for watching sunsets and enjoying the view. The neighborhood felt safe and was walkable. They have a book exchange just up the street which was convenient and well stocked. If you are staying here in the heat of summer the main part of the house is not air conditioned. It was hot during our stay but we spent the majority of the day outside. There are overhead fans in all rooms so that helped move the air nicely in the evenings. If you have a large group this is a wonderful house. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely marvelous vacation and have come home with many good memories.
The house that we selected, Kawena 5, and that you organized occupancy for , couldn't have been better.
We were a group of 10, 6 adults and 4 children and the 5 rooms were perfect. It was so nice to be greeted with the delightful food packages. Your manual with all the attractions, maps, trouble shooting processes, go-to information and check out process was indeed helpful.
The home was clean and well maintained as was the pool, yard and hot tub.
We would have liked to be able to have rented and parked 3 vehicles on site so that the 3 separate families could have been a bit more independent. However, we were told only 2 vehicles were permitted. There was certainly enough room for parking on site and we wouldn't have had to park on the street. Perhaps this is a matter that could be re-addressed for future large group gatherings.

This was the all adults get away. We (5 adults) all really appreciated the spacious 5 bedroom, 5 and a half bath house that afforded each of us complete privacy. The property was beautiful with an awesome view of the ocean. It was tastefully decorated with island decor and was completely stocked with everything you would need for cooking and cocktails. Each bedroom had good working air conditioners. The lower level had ceiling fans in every room including the large kitchen. I can't say enough about this property and would stay here again. Although, this was an all adult trip, it would be a great home for families too.

Our group loved this home! The location was great to shops and food. The pool was amazing and the view was also awesome. We loved that everyone had their own bathroom! This house has everything. We had two families with teens there and it was perfect. The pool overlooks the ocean. There is a small gym. There were five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The photos don't really do it justice. Much more spacious than we anticipated. Everything worked (except the dishwasher and they are working on that). Lots of small spots to grab a book and get some time to one's self. The house is just up the road from Kona, but quiet and peaceful.

House is very large with lots of rooms and recreational spaces. Plenty of room. Clean and well maintained. Short drive to shops and restaurants. Down side- washing machine was broken and hot tub couldn't be heated between 6 Am to 2:30 PM. Otherwise everything was great and would highly recommend.

It was wonderful having a bathroom for each bedroom. Kitchen was sparse on supplies - no salt and absolutely nothing in the refrigerator (basic condiments or such might have been nice). Pans, dishes, and utensils were plentiful though. Instructions indicate to completely clear out frig upon leaving, maybe because of covid? We had some issues upon arrival but they were quickly dealt with the next day. We didn't become aware that the whirlpool heated up at night (when turned on after the automatic pool cleaner was no longer running) until our last night and we wish we had known sooner! LOL All in all, the accommodations met our needs very nicely and we really enjoyed our stay. We would not hesitant to rent this property again! Mahalo!!!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL home. Warm personal feeling from top to bottom. Like to Cook??? They have EVERY kitchen appliance you can think of!! Only down side was the ac unit in the master bedroom did not get cool enough and tried communicating with the office via email but it was not addressed during my stay. Overall we loved the home.

We did not spend a lot of time at the house but it provided a great place to sleep and grill with a nice central location. There were a couple of items to note - the right grill had some issues with the outside burners getting hot and the pool interestingly enough had no light in it - but overall I highly recommend staying here. There is another grill to use and a smoker we did not try out. The hot tub was great to relax in when we got back at night.

The house was awesome. Clean and spacious. Every room has its own bathroom which makes it ideal for multi family vacationing. And the pool was so nice! Watching the sun set into the ocean each night was such an added bonus too. If I could add 1 area for improvement, I'd say the wifi could be better. It only seemed to work on the ground floor, not upstairs in the bedrooms. But, overall, this house was perfect, better than expected and I would highly recommend.

Great central location and great ocean views! Pool and spa were great and we all enjoyed them very much. Home was very well stocked with dishes and everything else we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend this property!

The house was perfect for our large family. Everyone had their own space and the backyard was a perfect setting for family gatherings. We loved watching the sunset from the Lanai and the big table in the dining room was awesome for the 9 of us to have family meals. Kona coast was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for every meal.

Fantastic home! Plenty of room for our group of 10. Wonderful covered outdoor eating area. It was great to have the pool right there for the kids to get in about 10 times per day. Very well-equipped kitchen with everything you need. 5-minute drive to downtown and Safeway and any shopping. Not right on the beach, but we knew that ahead of time. We drove to different beaches each day. They also have a fair amount of beach gear including boogie boards, snorkel sets, and reef shoes of various sizes. We loved it. You won't go wrong with this lovely house.

The house was amazing and looked exactly like the photos! It was clean and well stocked including additional appliances we didn't expect to find like a blender and coffee grinder. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, serving and cooking supplies to accomodate our large group of 10. Our conceirge reached out before we arrived offering help to arrange activities as well as making recommendations. Although we made our own arrangements once we arrived it was nice to know help was available. The welcome basket was a nice touch and we enjoyed the island goodies! Highly recommend Kona Coast Vacations and if we return to the big island we will be calling them!

Our group of 5 couple stayed in a Kona Coast Vacations home in Kona after our Honolulu Marathon adventure. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay. What a perfect home, we could hang out together, or find our separate corners, the house was just right. The pool was awesome to have, and was well used. The amenities were great as well. And Kona Coast Vacations was easy to deal with, well organized, friendly, very definitely highly recommended. Thank you.

Loved our long Thanksgiving stay in this home! It was the perfect location for our large group of adults as every bedroom has its own bathroom. The weather can be a bit warm here even in the winter but the a/c units in each bedroom made it easy to sleep comfortably. Our host had a gift basket of local treats waiting for us and we immediately dug in after a long day of flying and airplane snacks! The views of the ocean from the pool and upstairs balcony were amazing and we will never forget the wonderful time spent lounging outside and in the pool relaxing and enjoying time together. Will definitely return!

Our group of 10 enjoyed the house. It’s big and comfortable. We had small issues with the fridge not working well and had to wait two days to have someone check it. We are not used to the big bugs that are common in the area... but we managed. It’s a great house for entertaining and has everything you could need for cooking. The TVs could be easier to use but we only used them at night. We would rent this house again for sure!

This is an amazing property. Great layout and close to everything. There were 10 adults and we had plenty of space to relax. Our concierge, David, was awesome. We booked 4 great tours through David. He knows the island and the best tours. I highly recommend this house and will stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Large home with a great view to the coast. Our group of 5 couples had plenty of space. The property has everything you need for a stress free stay. About 1.4km walk to the beach which was an easy 20 minute walk home after a few drinks.

This property was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 teenagers. Everyone had their own bath and bedroom, there was ample room for socializing, and the kitchen had everything we could imagine. It was quite hot and humid this week so we missed having air conditioning in the main part of the house but the bedrooms were comfortable. Great vacation in paradise.

Our extended family of 10 takes an annual vacation. This house was ABSOLUTELY a wonderful choice. It had everything we needed to spread out and also be together...MUCH BETTER than multiple hotel rooms. Our one question was taken care of in 15 minutes ! The pool was a very good extra...to relax in after touring. David, the concierge , had very good input to make our whole experience tremendous. We would love to go back again.

Very nice house. I would give the house a 5 in all areas. Location was close to everything. View was amazing. There was pool toys for the kids, lots of towels, enough glasses and kitchenware for about 20 people!! We loved it and would rent again. Date of Stay: 1/22/17 to 1/30/17

Aloha! We had an amazing time at this beautiful home overlooking the ocean. Location was great... had neighbours but felt like we were in our own little paradise! The house had everything we needed... towels, bathroom and kitchen supplies etc.. and lots of space for our party of 8. Loved the pool area and lots of lounge chairs... also enjoyed the hot tub at night watching the sunset. Much to our surprise there was a gas and charcoal BBQ. Amazing smell of burgers, ribs, wings and steak on a charcoal barbecue! No issues and would highly recommend this property to others. David the concierge was very helpful with booking our tours for us. He was just a phone call away when we had any questions and he also called us a few times before our trip to offer his services which we gladly excepted. We did an ATV tour which was a lot of fun but we were a little disappointed with the helicopter tour. We did the Circle Of Fire Tour showing the volcano and a small waterfalls but it did not compare with the helicopter tour we did on Maui which showed all the beauty of the valleys and water falls on that island. Make sure you really know what you want/expect to see on the island and that you book a tour that will show you those things! Mahalo to all that made our holiday on Big Island a vacation to remember! The property description was spot on. We had 9 in our party and we never felt crowded. Very spacious loved that we all had our own bathroom! The property was spotless. We had a couple of minor issues that were resolved before we could hang the phone up. Great customer service. Can't wait to return. Loved our dolphin encounter, drive to Hilo, exploring the volcanoes, kayaking adventure, parasailing, mantarae dive, Splashers, Lava Lava Beach Club, Bubba Gumps, and all the amazing beaches!

Kawena 5 was a lovely home in an upscale residential neighborhood a short distance above Kona. The location was convenient to everything in the area, and its position afforded wonderful views of Kona, the ocean, and sunsets. All the bedrooms were exquisite and air conditioned. Note that the lower floor (except for the bedroom there) ha no AC, but with ceiling fans in every room, the house stays comfortable and cool off well at night. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of indoor space and outdoor space, all with lots of seating. Finally, the pool and hot tub made for an excellent stay. Plus, the concierge service provided by David was so helpful with great recommendations and on target descriptions. This was a perfect house for group of 7 adults and two small children.

Had a wonderful time on the big island with our whole family (6 adults, 4 kids). The house was great with plenty of room for us all and all the amenities you could ask for. Convenient to great beaches, grocery store, etc., yet in a quiet, pretty neighborhood. The management company provided great concierge service and when we needed a repair in the kitchen, they responded quickly. We would certainly stay here again. Our experience was definitely 5 star!
