The property location is stunning--views and sunsets were memorable. Access to the water for snorkeling right in front of the property was perfect. We snorkeled with spinner dolphins, turtles, and a monk seal. The swimming pool & hot tub was literally a few steps from our unit. Having 2 parking spots was convenient. Property security was well enforced. Conveniently located to most attractions/activities. The property was also well supplied during our week stay.Some things noted:- Very heavy, chunky furniture. Seemed crowded with older, over sized furnishings.- 2nd floor deck railing was coming apart at 2 corners.- Master bath left sink was leaking onto the counter.- 2nd floor extra bathroom sink was slow to drain.- Binnoculars were broken and not usable.

🔘🟡 Plunged second bathroom sink drain. The style of sink drain generally is slower than the standard style. It’s draining at a normal speed. Cleaned glass on binoculars. They are functional but missing the thumb grab for the focus, it’s still operable. You Just have to know to roll the dial with your finger. Need to return with solution for faucet.

Wonderful place to stay. The sunsets are amazing and the property is very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the view from both balconies. The kitchen was very well stocked and the place was very clean and spacious. The location is perfect for exploring north and south. So much to do in this area and then to come back to a perfect home away from home was amazing. Thank you so much for the easy check in and checking with us to make sure we were doing well and not needing anything. Very easy to find the place even after dark. Parking was great, easy gated entry. Definitely would stay again even without AC!

Hello. We had a great time at Kona Bliss. Everyone enjoyed the house, the views, the ample bathrooms, the nice comfy beds. Probably the only thing that was hard to adjust to was that there was no air conditioning. We come from the high desert so we weren't used to the humidity and heat. Also the refrigerator did not seem to keep things very cold. Maybe cause of the heat and humidity. But a small issue to deal with.

We loved our stay here. It was a beautiful home with a beautiful location. There is one of the best beaches a small walk away and the sunsets are epic. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook at home and it is a short drive to many farmer's markets and grocery stores. The complex was well kept and secure. The pool was pristine and perfect for our 5 year old. I would note that the bedroom with the twin beds is only separated by a thin sliding wall to the living space.

This condo has one of the best locations in Kona. It's on a rock jetty projecting out into the ocean. There are views on three sides. The pool was adjacent and often empty. The hot tub was really hot. The landscaping is lovely. And restaurants, shops, and beaches are nearby. In addition, the furnishings are charming, very old Hawaii. You have your own little piece of paradise.

Loved having restaurants and stores within 15 minute drive but felt remote as well. Comfy beds and all the amenities you could need in the kitchen. We could not imagine a more picturesque location in the Kona area -- the house is literally built into the lava rock that lines the coast along the ocean! It felt very secluded despite being on the main coastal road. We enjoyed taking in the views from the lanai and exploring the tide pools right outside the gate. Magic Sands Beach is an easy walk down the street. We found the house to be very comfortable for an intergenerational family vacation -- the kitchen was well-equipped for meals at home, bedrooms were quiet (the downstairs twin room does not have a full wall/door separating it from the living room, but we all retired at the same time), pool was close by

The property complex and home were great. The views were excellent and the home was well appointed. Even though this was a 12 home gated complex, you still felt quiet privacy with a good level of security. We had a delay checking in because the door code provided to the home didn't work and we checked in after hours. Fortunately, we were able to still reach the Kona Coast Vacations staff who provided us with the correct code to access the home. They were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely love to stay here again and I am currently a hero with my family thanks to this lovely property!

The sunsets and views from the deck were spectacular, and we loved listening to the crashing waves at night. The house is well equipped, has the best location in the complex, and the close proximity to the pool is awesome. It's an easy walk to the beach, a shaved ice truck and a nearby restaurant. The house does not have a/c, and it's necessary to open all the windows, use the provided fans, and close window coverings to block the afternoon sun. The house was stuffy and hot when we arrived, and it would have been nice if it had been opened up prior to our arrival. There are also missing window coverings in the living area that should be replaced. Other than the lack of a/c, we had a great stay and it's a nice base for all activities on the island.

Overall the location was great and the view was awesome. The cleanliness is lacking significantly and the overall age of the property is showing. The home is close to surfing and some shopping and there are many excursions available on the island. We highly recommend checking out the Umamau excursions, particularly the ATV rides, what a blast! David with Kona Concierge is awesome and was such a help booking our excursions!

We had a wonderful ten days in this property, the location can't be beat although this entire complex is wonderful! We never tired of sitting on the lanai and watching the sun set! The kitchen was well stocked and we love this peaceful southern end of the Ali'i Road stretch of many condos. The manager was super responsive to a few questions and very helpful, thank you. We will be back!

We loved this place so much! Perfect views from all windows and lanai. Fully stocked, even bug spray and snorkel equipment! WiFi worked well. We used the grill and kitchen a lot which saved money. Loved the pool area. A few bugs but I guess they have to spray for them. This was our splurge place as we traveled over Christmas. We won't forget it!

Loved the kitchen and master bedroom. Huge counters and decent appliances and the like. The second bedroom was small and hot (fine for kid). The downstairs bedroom doesn't have a door, just a curtain. I think it's a converted bar/lounge. It would be an amazing place for a couple and one small kid. It's worked okay for our two medium sized kids. The ocean view is delightful. We snorkeled right in front of the place and saw dolphins whales and the like. Enter from a rocky beach to the right of the entrance. The communal hot tub worked intermittently and the gate to the pool area is tricky, but both the pool and the hot tub were nice after long hikes.

The location is unparalleled. The unit is surrounded on three sides by water and the views are fantastic. The unit is the furthest one from the road and all you can hear is the surf. The landscaping is beautiful.The furniture and fixtures are a bit dated and worn and this is not reflected in the photos.

This was a great house for the five of us. Overlooking the water, waves crashing. Everything we needed was supplied except for a broken shower handle which was scheduled to be fixed two days after we moved in but never was. Other than that we enjoyed it very much.

What a wonderful place! Gorgeous, 180 degree views of the ocean, just a couple of feet out the window. We enjoyed eating on the lanaii and I loved the fully equipped kitchen. We didn't have to purchase very many spices to cook the occasional dinner. I took my family here for my 10th anniversary. It was awesome. Within walking distance to the Magic sands beach and only a couple of minutes to the restaurants off of Ali'i drive. We went right after hurricane Lane, and everything was very hot and humid. We enjoyed the beautiful pool often. The only thing that could have made the location and place better was air conditioning. As it was, when the wind blows the temperatures were comfortable. The house is amazing and very well equipped. We were surprised to find a Pack and Play (even though we brought our own) and tons of beach / snorkeling gear already in the house. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The property management company was very helpful when we landed and I appreciate the large book of info they left for us in the house. I hope you enjoy this location as much as we did! Mahalo!

My family had a great stay at this beautiful house. There was a huge kitchen, parking was easy, communication was helpful, and the decorations were beautiful. The house has one of the best ocean views within the complex, and most windows look out into it. We saw dolphins and canoes outside on the lanai. I loved hearing the ocean crash near our house while sleeping but it took a while for my mother to get used to.

This is a great vacation spot for 2 couples - 2 private bedrooms both with private bathrooms. The kitchen is very modern and has everything. There was no need for us to buy any paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, etc.) - this was appreciated. The views were amazing, particularly the sunsets. Everything was wonderful. The location is incredible. You can't beat being so close to Magic Sands, Kona town, and with the new road, our fav snorkel spot- 2 step (30 min away now vs 45). Unit has best viewing of dolphins passing by, as well out outriggers from neighboring canoe club- and, if you don't mind a less than perfect entry- snorkeling out front and along reef is great. That said, ownership has changed a couple times since we first started coming (not prop mgmt co, mind you)...the outdoor furniture is rusting so much that pieces of rust are on the deck floor constantly...screen doors have gaps allowing bugs to come in (i get bugs are in HI, lets just minimize by fixing the screen gaps), cooking knives, so weak (we bring our own), downstairs bath- toilet has been running since our stay in June 2017 (still ran when flushing this Dec), and this last time- hot tub would not stay hot (over 85 after heating for 2 hrs per instructions)...minor things they need to do to make this a 5 star property. We forgive flaws for the view and we just bring our own knives, bowls, spices, etc to make it work (just think owner/mgmt co could assist more)....new renters to the unit may have issues. Great place, but could be so much more and worth what they charge if owner/mgmt RE-invests the $$ charged to renters to beauty / clean up the place to current standards.
Aloha and Mahalo for the comments. On your next visit please call our office while you here, we are on island and open 7 days a week, we will address the issues asap. We do not live in the property so we do not always see the issues that someone staying in the home will notice. We will have a plumber assigned, we will replace the knifes and add some bowls right away (guests sometimes share meals with others in the complex and then forget which items belong to which home), we have spices available as well. Being right on the ocean is worse than being on a boat, with maintenance being required continuously. Any metal items will start rusting immediately. Even the aluminum will start to corrode. For example: Ocean front properties need the stainless steel BBQS replaced almost each year due to the rust factors. We will report the hot tub issues to the resident manager as well. We do appreciate the great comments on the property and the location and we appreciate you identifying the items that need attention. Mahalo and we hope to see back again soon.

I am in love with this property. We couldn't have stayed any closer to the ocean! Every day we were out on the lanai watching for whales, dolphins and turtles. Fun to watch the outriggers paddle by. Every night we were lulled to sleep with the sound of the ocean's waves. There's no a/c, but the fans and the ocean breezes make up for it. Everything is provided for you...there's even a cooler and some snorkel equipment. It's close to everything, and there are great places to eat nearby. Got to try Da Poke Shack. The property is well represented by the online photos and was very clean. We had to call maintenance for some issues, and they were promptly there taking care of them. A couple of cons - the pool and hot tub close way too early (7pm - and it's enforced by a resident), and parking is very far from the unit (carts are provided for groceries, etc). Overall, this property is too fantastic to pass up!

Great location, beautiful house, wonderful snorkeling just through the side-fence into the shallows. Spacious, clean, has nearly everything you would ask for... except AC. We stayed in mid-August and it was hot. Had to use fans at night to get any sleep. Roar of the ocean can sometimes be too loud - who would have ever thought?
They had a very well stocked kitchen (except no pizza pan). Condo had extra snorkels, a bike, and two boogie boards which came in handy for floating on for my youngest daughter while snorkeling.
While snorkeling, we saw several sea turtles close by. On the last day we saw a pod of spinner dolphins going down the coast line, jumping out of the water - what a sight!
The 3rd bedroom (only bedroom on the first floor) doesn't have a door - just a curtain so that is less than ideal.
Only complaint is that they pretend to give you the option of placing a damage deposit or buying an insurance contract. I say "pretend" because the conditions for the deposit are excessive - $3000 required 6+ months in advance! They should just drop that option and require the insurance plan.

This place was fabulous!!! We had the best time! There were very few people in the complex, a little construction going on, but it didn't bother us a bit!!! It was like we had the place to ourselves, (with the exception of the "pool police"-grumpy lady who kicked us out of the pool at 9:00 when we weren't bothering ANYONE) We would LOVE to come again!!!

This was the perfect property for our stay. We were there to work at our coffee shop the San Francisco Bay Kona Café on Ali'i Drive for the week leading up to and the week after Ironman. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of work and listen to the waves breaking while sitting on the lanai. The only issue I would bring to your attention is that the downstairs toilet needs adjusting. It runs continuously. We would highly recommend this rental unit and hope to stay there on another of our many trips to Kona.
