Kona Isle B38 booked w Kona Coast Vacations. I've been visiting Kona annually since 2007; I've booked with Kona Coast Vacations on my last two trips. I've been very happy with their service, rates, and conditions of the properties. Since my first trip, I've witnessed many changes to include the introduction of more travel sites with incredible fees. Kona Coast helps keep prices reasonable; you are paying for a service not an app developer. Kona Isles is a lovely complex with a rare sandy beach. I've spent many hours watch the ocean for whales & dolphins from the comfort of a lounge chair. Unit B38 is very nicely equipped with exceptionally clear instruction for any detail you may wonder about. A top floor unit, the view from the lanai is as good as you can get without booking an ocean front unit (buildings D & E). We loved our stay and recommend this particular complex if you are seeking hours of ocean gazing, from coffee at sunrise to wine at sunset.

Kona Isle B38 - This place is awesome! Gorgeous view of both the ocean and the mountains right out the slider and from the lanai, absolutely beautiful and well maintained grounds, and well stocked, comfortable condo. The bed is very comfortable, as is the living room furniture. The kitchen has everything you need. The place is very clean and it's really obvious that the owners put a lot of their hearts into it, because it's both really well stocked and so well maintained. There's some snorkel gear there too which is really nice, we definitely used it! Also the grill area is wonderful - grills for anyone to use and loungers and chairs - really nice to have that hang out space. The pool as well, there are pool noodles to use which were a big hit with my kids. My family of four stayed here for a week and it was everything we needed (and more!). The location is awesome too, super close to the downtown area with tons of restaurants and shops. We'll be back for sure!

This unit is a fantastic rental for your Hawaiian adventure. It is beautifully appointed, and incredibly well-stocked. The king-sized bed is very comfortable and everything is spotless. We've stayed at the property numerous times. We love its location, the grounds and the BBQ area is situated on the sandy beach, perfect for sunsets. B38 is far and away the best unit we've experienced in the complex. Everything was made easy and accessible by Kona Coast Vacations. Thank you!

Kona lsle have beautiful garden, and nice view for Kona sunset. Bathroom has only half wall?, so bathmat always wet after shower. But this room has everything and clean. New air conditioning in a bedroom and living room. バスルームに半分の壁しかない為、ドアやカーテンがあると良かったです。洗濯機はあまり大きくなく日本と比べるとうるさいです。その他は満足のいくお部屋でした。エアコンは、リビングと寝室に富士通製が付いています。

We loved the Hawaiian decorated condo! It was well appointed. Had everything we needed and more. Would definitely stay there again! Loved the view from the living room lounge chair. Had one problem as there were no sheets for the sofa. Other than that it was absolutely lovely! I will definitely use Kona Coast Vacations again!

Our experience with Kona Coast Vacations was outstanding. The rooms were clean and spacious, with all amenities available being top notch. The lanai provides a view of the ocean and was a great place for coffee in the morning. The grounds were well kept and everything was easy to use with the directions provided by the booking agency being particularly helpful.We had family staying in the same complex who had stayed in this very room before and they had recommended it highly. I would use Kona Coast again if the opportunity arises; I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an enjoyable and economical experience on the Big Island.

From the moment we booked this place, we knew we were in for something special. The level of communication with the property management firm that oversees this unit was phenomenal. They have thought of every detail - down to offering complimentary concierge services to renters. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is really commendable. The unit itself was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable, and very nicely furnished. The view of the ocean was incredible. This is a third floor unit without an elevator - but we had no trouble at all with the stairs. The air conditioning in both the living room and bed room was lovely. The condo complex is beautifully maintained. The location (just south of Kona) made it a great jumping off point for activities on the west side of the island. As it is on the west side, the sunsets (viewed from either the unit's balcony or from the property's non-swimmable beach) were extraordinary. This place really is wonderful!

This is our second time staying at the Kona Isle. Our first time at B38. The complex is clean and location is great. We enjoyed the sandy beach next to the ocean and barbecues. The unit was clean with a comfortable bed, very good quality kitchen supplies, and we appreciated the beach chairs provided. Although the barstools and table on the Lania were good quality and attractive, we would have preferred more comfortable chairs. As a result, we made the mistake of moving a comfortable inside rattan chair out to the Lania, but we were quickly reminded this was not allowed, so we moved the chair inside immediately. For us, other than the seating on the Lania, the place was perfect! A bonus during our stay was the red glowing sky we could see from the Lania on clear nights that came from the Mona Loa Volcano.

For my husband it was a bucket list stay and to compete in the Kona Ironman. B38 was our home away from home. It had all we required, plus the bonus of listening, and watching the ocean. Would have been nice to have been closer to the event, but a bonus when we caught the bus! Probably not an issue when no ironman event!

We enjoyed our stay in B38 very much. Two things that made it less enjoyable was the shutting of water for two days from 9-5 at the Kona Isle and the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. It caused me to have a few restless nights.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo and property. The condo was nice, clean, and had everything we needed with the exception of spices, foil, baggies, saran wrap. They do have beach chairs, umbrella and a Styrofoam cooler which it didn't state it had on the description so that was nice. The property grounds were beautiful and the pool was rarely busy. It had a perfect location right in Kona. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was superb! From the cleanliness to the organized detail of the labels and booklet that listed everything from procedures and activities on the Big Island-I was astounded at the effort and precision given to this condo. The decoration was spot on, TVs were great, the view was amazing and I loved having the ocean view each day. It is located about 5 minutes from the Kona strip with many shops, restaurants and the Farmers Market and about 10 minutes from a Walmart and other stores. Some beaches around but the biggest one was 30 minutes away at Kua Bay. The A/C worked well. I would suggest having more blankets for the bed since the "comforter" is more like a luxurious sheet. The bathroom is cute but it does get stuffy in there. Located on the 3rd floor so be mindful when bringing heavy luggage. Local wildlife around including birds, geckos, and the occasional mongoose. Loved staying here and would return if we come back to the Big Island!

Had a great stay here! Loved the salt water pool right on the ocean and the locals that frequented it were so welcoming, they even invited us to join they're July 4th party they had at the salt water pool! The unit was very nice and very well equipped. The view from the lanai was as good as it is in the pics which isn't always the case on some vaca rentals! Great little market right next door. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting something more comfortable and less expensive than a nice hotel!

Really Is Perfect!

Ever live in a beach town or really given it a lot of thought? Not a passing thought but really imagine living there and what you'd want and want to avoid? For us, B38 had everything we want and nothing we didn't. It really is perfect. For us (50s, without kids/grandkids). We wanted to not compromise on beachfront property with awesome views from the unit. We wanted quiet but easy access to town. Kona Isle B38 delivers completely. The pool and the sandy beach area with chairs was an amazing bonus. It was so quiet and so peaceful and only a 5 minute drive to the main town. There were never any crowds or a shortage of chairs at either the pool or the beach. Just amazingly relaxing. Try getting that at a big complex or hotel. Furthermore, Hawaii is all about the feel. Want a corporate decorated box? Go to a hotel. B38 exceeded expectations even with the amazing pictures. From the little details, like the turtle etchings on the glass blocks in the shower to the floor tiles bringing the color and feeling of outside in to the furniture, inside and out, with the tropical themed carvings. Just incredible. Feels like exactly what one would do with their own perfect slice of heaven. And the air conditioning, in both the bedroom and living room are exceptional. Very efficient and very welcome. Everything was in perfect working order and more than fully supplied. Really, just imagine exactly what you'd want in Kona. B38 is it.

This is an awesome place for vacation. The room is big and very clean with full house amenities. It provides almost all your need at beach, like: umbrella, beach cooler, beach chairs, sand bucket etc,. We had a wonderful time here. You can see the sea from the balcony, but in fact the sea is still "far" from this place. So don't expect to much on the so called "Oceanview". That is only thing I can complain about this apartment.

Everything Was Perfect!

Everything was perfect and the deco was pretty cute and clean to match this Island Paradise. The kitchen area had everything that we needed, loved the fact we had extra towels, we had coffee makers, crock pot, pot and pans everything for some days that we came back tired from visiting different places and prepared some fast dinners with no worries and all was set perfect and very inviting. The shower enclosure was an issue sometimes because the water spray came out and we had to dry the floor, good thing that we bought extra paper towels. Loved the sink and the blue color tiles matching the water color ocean. The view from the balcony is priceless, so relaxing, I could spend all day looking at the ocean, never get tired of it. It is very quiet and peaceful, and again, the ocean view is amazing. I will gladly come back again to enjoy the accommodations and view from this nice unit.

Kona Coast Vacations does an outstanding job of taking care of all the details. We have stayed at many places in Kona over the last 20+ years and Kona Isle is one of the best in our opinion. Even though it is an older property it is clean and appears well taken care of. We especially enjoyed the oceanfront common area, where you can relax and watch for whales. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have booked another unit for next years trip to Kona!

We stayed at Kona Coast for ~2 weeks soon after the Big Island re-opened its doors to travelers without requiring a mandatory two week quarantine. We reserved the spot through VRBO and the entire process was pretty seamless. We filled out a few additional forms through KCV that verified the rental and the rest of the process was a piece of cake. Once we arrived, we quickly realized what a gem we’d found with our KCV rental (B38). We were steps from a private view of the ocean and our unit’s lanai had a great view of the waves and the horizon. We had an ample-sized one bedroom with all the coziness of a home and amenities of a condo (dishwasher, washer/dryer, multiple TVs, high-speed internet, BBQ) along with the service that you’d expect from a hotel (freshly washed linens and extra towels, concierge style service and recommendations, responsive help desk, keypad entry, pool). The dedicated parking spot was great - we could drive just about anywhere (beach, grocery store, town center, some of the hiking paths) in just about 10 minutes. And a short 15 minute walk would get you to the best coffee spot - Green Flash Coffee. Love this spot and the staff that supports the place! We were here for a workcation on Pacific Time (worked during the early morning to mid-day, enjoyed the beaches in the afternoon) but somehow KCV made it feel like a true vacation! When we had a momentary drop in internet, they sent someone the same day to have the router replaced - you can’t beat that service! Definitely will stay here again - thank you!

Incredible!

The apartment was very nice and has a great view on the ocean. One morning we spotted wild dolphins from the balcony during breakfast. This was incredible. The location gives a good starting point to discover beaches in the north and south on the western side of big island. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Can highly recommend this stay.

Great condo

Property was great, ocean view was awesome, ocean front bbq area was awesome and we really enjoyed it, unit was packed full of useful amenities (beach chairs, travel bags, fully stocked kitchen, etc, etc). Only reason for not giving 5 stars was that there was construction going on in the unit below which was extremely loud and began at 8AM... every... single... day (weekday). Made the trip much less enjoyable and made it hard to feel as if we got the full value of what we paid for.

It was like two months in Paradise

This was our second two month stay at Kona Isle and we hope to return. Our first stay the unit we rented had not been updated and was in bad condition, but the development itself was so spectacular we returned. B38 where we rented this year was spectacular. It is in a great location for viewing and hearing the ocean. We have rented in many many different places, B38 is one of the best furnished and supplied we have encountered. We had one slight internet issue and Kona Coast was quick to resolve the problem. We had a great two months.

Lovely place to vacation

No complaints from us. Kona Isle B38 is a great rental. The condo is tastefully decorated and has most things you might need during your stay. It has been well taken care of, the only problem we had was with the dish washer, it wouldn't drain completely but that was taken care of within a few hours of calling to report. Comfortable furniture and heavenly air conditioning. The manager does a great job of seeing to upkeep of buildings, grounds and is an asset to this resort.

What a great experience

KCV was easy to deal with from the beginning to end. Spectacular communication and customer service skills. They answered every question within a couple hours and were extremely quick to respond when we were stranded at the airport and then locked out of our unit. We chose Kona Isle b38 and were impressed. The unit was better than the pictures indicated. Beach view in a very quiet complex. The unit was stocked with just about everything, including beach chairs, coffre grinder, french press, and to many other items to name. It was close to town and easy to find. KCV even allowed us to check out late due to a later flight that was delayed even further for Hurricane Lane. I would happily stay in the unit again. And use KCV again, considering they had no surprise fees at check out. Thanks again!

This is an amazing apt, so perfect, clean, organized, simply lovely, we were amazed that everything was thought out, we were sad to leave, we loved out stay!

Very good location, the city of Kona is only 4 minutes away and offers many opportunities to go out to eat or drink. The area is very nice and well maintained, but this also means occasional loud noise in the morning as mowing lawn. Another tip is to read the agreement well, post should not be sent to the apartment but only to the office of Cona Coast. In my case Cona Coast was very accommodating and tried to help me in every way. All in all a great place to stay that I can recommend.

What a great place to stay! The condo had all we needed and more. We spent time every day on the lounge chairs by the water, and several days at the pool. We used the bbq one night and it was great. Our own parking spot and AC was very nice too! Kona and west Hawaii is beautiful and we will be back!

This is a pleasant little unit in an older, well-maintained complex. It was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need as far as the kitchen, towels, bedding, cleaning supplies, board games etc. (Almost comically so- we didn't get the chance to make waffles or roast a turkey but we could have!) Nice cross-draft during the day (plus ample ceiling fans) and AC to cool it down at night. Pretty ocean view from the patio, which we enjoyed taking our meals on. Unit was clean and in good shape, nothing fancy but an excellent value for the price. Location is great, central Kona location but just outside of the main Alii drive craziness. Our hosts were communicative, we had all the info we needed, and check-in was a breeze. The complex seemed really well looked-after. They were painting one wing while we were there, plus there was landscaping going on, so it got a little noisy during the day, but, well, that's stuff that needs to get done. Work was done at reasonable hours. Pool was pretty small but looked pristine. Nice shoreline area for relaxation. All in all: value, comfort, location, amenities! Would return without hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay in your condo. It was clean and comfortable and the view from the lanai was a delight. The bedroom was large and we especially enjoyed the air-conditioning in that room. The kitchen was well-appointed and we were able to make a few of our own meals. We loved the decor and the little knick-knacks that reminded us that we were in Hawaii.
