It's a good location, with some ocean views, and it's very quiet. It's just that the room is a little small, there is no dishwasher, and one of things that I don't like is the kitchen utensils are all plastic. Except for these, it's not bad. The staff respond all the requirements in time and actively solved any problems. Compared with the size and facilities of the room, the price is a little expensive.

Great central location to lots of snorkeling areas, downtown Kona with shopping, food, farmers market short walk away. Loved the waves crashing on the lava rock and afternoon swims in the pool on the grounds. Clean, well maintained landscaping.

We stayed at Kona Isle in apt C32. It has recently been totally remodeled and is perfect and a very good value. Walk down the stairs to the beach without crossing a road. Lovely beach and saltwater pool next door. Quiet at night, some ocean view from the balcony. The on-site manager, Brian, is fantastic! He's committed to his guests and the property's he should be cloned for all condo complexes! The unit has a good bed,nice bathroom, great kitchen, and plenty of towels. This is a well maintained, 50-year old complex but right on the beach. Birds in the morning. Whales spouting off shore every day. Just lovey. The management company is easy to work with and communicates well. All good, nothing negative.

We stayed in the Kona Isle C32 for 11 days. I was very impressed with these accommodations. Very clean with a very well equipped kitchen! We really appreciated that beach chairs, mats, umbrella and a cooler were provided and we made good use of it. David the concierge was very helpful getting us booked on the catamaran snorkeling cruise we wanted. We would book this unit again with no hesitation. On the down side, the WIFI was not very good and there is no elevator. Kona Vacations staff were always helpful and courteous. Thank you for a great experience. 🙂

Very Nice and Well Maintained

We really enjoyed our stay at Kona Coast Vacations. The location was very convenient and the grounds were beautiful. I loved that the pool was clean and not crowded. We spent several evenings watching the sunset from the private beach area. Unit C32 was very nice and well maintained. The lack of a dishwasher wasn't an issue as we ate most meals out. I liked that there was ice in the freezer waiting for us.

This was our second time staying at this location. We love the area along the water; a beautiful, relaxing spot. The condos are close to town and within a few minutes of a couple nice beaches. We hope to come back in the future!

Beautiful beach front property where you can view the awesome Kona sunsets! Its on Ali'i drive so shops, restaurants, and beach access are closeby where you can drive or walk. Great base to explore all the beautiful spots on the Big Island. Definitely recommend as a place to stay in Kona!

We had a great stay at C32. Place is updated and provided all the basic needs for a temporary stay. Those beach stuff really were useful. Also, other supplies , eg. Paper towel, dish soap, laundry soap, garbage bags provided were enough for us for a week. We were glad there are enough towels to use. No air-condition in bedroom but still comfortable as we keep the door open and somehow benefited from the air-conditioned in the living room. Also, the ceiling fan and portable fan helped as well. Just a suggestion: darker curtains in living room. My daughter slept there and woke up early because it gets bright in the morning. Sometimes, people prefer to sleep late in vacation 😉. Overall, it was a great stay!

Nice condo. Beautiful grounds. Could see the ocean from the lanai. Could hear the waves sitting in the living room with the sliding door open! Bed was comfortable. Property management company needs to pay more attention to details. The smoke detector was hanging open and no battery; it appeared someone opened it, took the battery out to replace, and forgot to finish the job. Also, it’s not possible that whoever cleaned the shower/tub couldn’t have known there was a major clog in the drain pipe. We pulled out a couple of years worth of hair, sludge, etc. because you ended up standing in a “bath” when you showered.

It has some nice amenities, and a great space for hanging out. The bed was comfortable, the sofa sleeper not so much! The hosts were quick to respond to some details that needed attention. Not a bad space to chill, hear the ocean, cook your own meals, put your feet up, and sit on the balcony.

We had a great experience. Gorgeous view, private beach area, felt like we had the place to ourselves. Designated parking spot was a bonus. I looked at alot of places and the ocean close and beach area was top priority. The condo had everything we needed. We didn't spend much time there so it was adequate. It's not fantasy but it's clean, nice and comfortable. Affordable is a plus. It is a little noisy in the bedroom as it gets some road noise, pretty sure that is consistent on Ali drive. $1.00 earplugs fixed the problem. Would highly recommend Kona Isle. Looking forward to our next trip.

My wife and I traveled to Kona recently and had a wonderful time staying at the Kona Isle complex. Kona Coast vacations were very friendly over the phone, we found the directions from the airport, codes and the condition of the apartment to be very satisfactory. The apartment had all the amenities expected and more, which was a nice surprise. i would highly recommend Kona Coast to anyone traveling to Kona who wants to save some $$ and enjoy a high quality stay. Did I say it's super conveniently located on Ali'i Dr, close to shops, boutiques, restaurants, etc? Close to the Magic Sands beach also, Kona Isle is an awesome place to spend your time in Kona. First of all we want to say that we had a great time in Kona. The The apartment was clean when we arrived. The location is perfect. The manager does an excellent job. The condo had everything we needed. Towels, sheets, utensils, beach chairs, umbrella and toys were useful and greatly appreciated. However, few things have to be looked at. The kitchen cupboards and the bathroom need renovations. The screen door needs to be fixed or even replaced. We enjoyed our 6 weeks stay at Kona Isle #C32. Mahalo

Amazing!

My girlfriend and I spent a week at the place with Kona Coast Vacations, and it was amazing. The space was clean, had all the amenities we needed, and was so close to the water that we could hear the waves with the door open all through the day and night, which was so relaxing. The building is also very centrally located in Kona, just a few minutes to the downtown area, so exploring on foot or by bike was very simple and easy. We were very encouraged to explore all the time because of how easy it was to get to and from the place. Great time overall! Date of Stay: 12/14/17 to 12/22/17

First time booking through Kona Coast Vacations and I have to say, it was perfectly smooth, no hitches at all. The Condo ( C32) at Kona Isle was exactly as described, the photos were accurate. It was sweet, clean, and perfectly located... not too far out of downtown Kona, but just far enough to be away to be nice and quiet. The beach was delightful, we sat many mornings under the palm trees watching the little yellow Tang fish in the surf. Having washer/dryer in the unit saved a lot of extra packing. Little marketplace just a 2 minute walk up the road ( the truck there had AMAZING crepes!). Would definitely stay here again! Date of Stay: 3/8/17 to 3/18/17

Everything about the unit was as it shows in the pictures.We ate in most nights and enjoyed the barbecues and the picnic tables at sunset .The bed was very comfortable.We did not need the air conditioner.The ocean breezes worked their magic.The lanai was great in the morning for coffee and breakfast.The grounds are very well looked after and were spotless.I would recommend this unit to anyone.We are planning a return visit. This place is great. Xlnt location. Condo is in nice shape. Ceiling fans and a/c keep it cool. Bed is a little small but comfortable. Has 3 bbq's right on the beach. The condo complex is well maintained and is very quiet in the evening. Having assigned parking was a nice plus. Lack of wifi in the condo was a bit of a bummer but not a huge deal (they have wifi in the office on site) all in all a nice place to stay. Aloha. Date of Stay: 11/15/16 to 11/23/16

Hate to leave!

We had a beautiful vacation in your condo. The worst part was leaving to come back to the mainland. All the island adventures kept us so busy. We went snorkeling, swam at the pool, walked to the nearby marketplace, strolled the Kona-Kailua boardwalk area, did some fine dining, swam with the manta-rays, went on a whale watching tour, saw the volcano, and relaxed, relaxed, relaxed! It was so great to be able to prepare a bite and head to our next adventure. The view of the ocean from the lanai was beautiful and we could hear the ocean waves crashing. The weather was so beautiful we didn't need the A/C on at all. And the rain only happened when we slept - but it kept the island lush and beautiful. We plan to return ASAP. Room with a view

This was our first stay at the Kona Isle C32 and we were impressed with the complex overall. All was in order.. It's clean, comfortable and a well supplied unit. Nicely decorated with a good supply of kitchen necessities. There was a nice sitting area immediately behind the rocky beach with barbeques and tables near the pool. This place would be great for a couple to base out of for exploring the big island. Unit C32 is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. You get a designated parking spot which is great. We stayed in C32 back in April and we were happy to rent the same unit again. It's clean, comfortable and a well supplied unit. Nicely decorated with a good supply of kitchen necessities. The living room TV could be bigger and the fold out sofa bed is beginning to show some age but we don't go to Kona to stay on the couch watching tv. 2017 kona vacation

We needed assistance from the on-site property manager to enter the room on arrival as the door code didn't work. On-site manager was very helpful. Room was well equipped and pool towels were nice to have. Kitchen cabinet door next to microwave stays open and gets in the way. New shower head needed. Clothes washer faucet leaked at the stem. Bedroom fan is off balance and makes noise. Liked the BBQ area and adjacent seating with lounge chairs. Pool area excellent. Overall a good experience, would recommend this place to
others.
