Great place to stay. Condo was very nice and clean. It was nice to check in a little earlier than usual. The host was very accommodating. My ONE complaint the main area TV remote does not work well. I have kids so TV is important. I forgot to bring adapter for TV. Overall, we had a lovely time. Thank you.

My husband and I spent a wonderful two weeks here. Our goal was to relax and this condo was the perfect place to do just that. The location, view of the golf course and beautiful landscaping added to the fact that the condo itself was comfortably furnished and well stocked with the necessities means the condo was absolutely wonderful. We have been staying in Mauna Lani for almost 15 years and this condo was perfect for two of us and would also have accommodated additional members of our family. Plan on making it our go to place

The Fairways at Mauna Lani is a lovely property. Grounds are well maintain, pool is lovely and having access to the beach club is great. The unit is nice and the location is quiet. The lanai off the master bedroom is wonderful with a nice view of the golf course. I believe this lanai and the one downstairs off the dining room need outdoor fans. It is stuffy in both areas and fans would certainly help. The unit is in good condition but could use so upgrading. We had issues with the unit and kona coast was very responsive and all issues were handle quickly. We personally would like to have more outside space than these townhomes offer but that being said we enjoyed our 14 day's and would certainly consider returning.

Fantastic location near all wonderful beaches. The beach access to Mani Lani beach was fantastic. Great snorkeling, swimming for very young and old. The Townhouse was spacious and very useable kitchen. The pool facilities are beautiful and a large pool and small pool for little ones.

This was our second stay at the Mauna Lani Fairways. We stayed in another unit in 2019 and loved the location and access to the Beach Club and 49 Black Sand Beach. A Foodland Farms grocery store is conveniently located minutes away and has everything that you need. Super friendly staff as well. This unit is fabulous. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pride of ownership really shows. The building is along the perimeter of the complex and overlooks the golf course. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the second story deck off the primary bedroom. The downside of the western exposure is that having dinner on the first floor lanai was a bit challenging with the late afternoon sun. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this unit and will definitely be back.

We loved our time at the condo, it was the perfect base for our family. Felt private but was a close walk to the pool and quick to get to the beach and other activities. Clean, quiet, well stocked and helpful communication. Would happily return again!

Our family had a wonderful time in the Mauna Lani Fairways. We stayed for six (6) nights, and everything was great. Access to the private beach was the driving force for our stay at the Fairways, so we could introduce our five-year old to snorkeling in calm waters with easy walk-in access to the water from the beach. The private Mauna Lani beach was the perfect location to introduce snorkeling, and then Beach 69 (a public beach) appx 5 miles north was a great location to graduate to more advanced snorkeling. The property was very reasonably priced for Easter week 2023. The garage had two ice chests available, I believe four sun umbrellas, some sand toys, I believe four sand chairs (short), and some snorkeling gear....but we brought all of our own fitted dive masks and fins. We were able to get cabanas each day at the private beach (first come first serve), which made for very enjoyable days at the beach. There is a Food Land grocery store less than a mile away which is a petite grocery store, not like mainland USA, but it has enough selections / choices to be a good vacation grocery store. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Start of spring for a few weeks stay. The site location of this condo on out facing edge of Fairways development preferred to inward/pool facing units that all look at one another. Build quality adequate, very quiet unit!, and plenty of room for us (2) and one week guest couple. Solid kitchen. Community pool and hot tub very nice after Island days activities. Property management team was awesome/professional. Mauna Lani resort and all its offerings wonderful place to be/home base on island. ML Beach Club access very nice though busy some days but never an issue to get a chaise lounge. Unit a tad dated paint scheme, bed covers-too soft for me, and I'd have landscaper trim overgrown lanai foliage to restore light/golf course view, but no real complaints as unit was one of the least expensive 2/2.5 we could secure for our timeframe within the Mauna Lani resort. We enjoyed our stay and loved our Hawaii-time.

Very nice stay at the Fairways again. This unit has very comfortable bedding and a very nice and private lanai and grilling area. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes however guest will need to supply cooking oils and most spices. Also, pick up extra cleaning supplies like paper towels and dish brush to tidy up if staying beyond 5 days. A very lovely and comfortable unit!! Look forward to visiting again soon.

My husband, myself and 3 year old had a great week long stay. I walked to the fairmont every morning for a conference which was easy and close. The kitchen was very stocked with everything you need for cooking including nice knives which was greatly appreciated. The pool and beach club are great, we went every day. Perfect for our stay!

The condo was perfect for our stay. The well-stocked kitchen had us eating in for most breakfasts and dinners. After having the maintenance man look at it because we could not get the outdoor grill to work one night, I gave it another try. The grill gave me a bit if a scare when it wouldn't light then exploded in my face singeing my bangs and eyebrows. That could have been a lot worse, but that was the only damage done. Please use that as a cautionary tale and use it carefully. We loved the access to the private homeowners association beach. The private lagoon with restaurant is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. We loved our stay at this condo and would highly recommend this over one of the super high priced hotels in the area!

This unit was really great. The master bedroom/bathroom was huge. The kitchen has every pan/appliance/Tupperware you could need. I loved that they actually had a nice knife set, not a flimsy one that barely cuts anything. All of the light switches were labeled which was very helpful. There were body board/beach chairs/coolers in the garage and even spare backpacks if you were in need of one. It all came in really helpful.

Property management when needed was accessible and helpful. 1104 gets total thumbs up based on our experience. One thing to note is that the downstairs level doesn't get much natural light but since we were out and about all day every day it wasn't an issue for us

Excellent Airbnb-like service, easy to navigate web site, and good value for money. I stayed at The fairways at Maura Lani (#1104) and I found the condo very well appointed and in a great location. Access to the Beach Club was a great value as well. My only slight negative is that the paperwork was super onerous and took a long time to fill out, vs Airbnb.

What a wonderful place to stay for our family of four. This condo offered all of the amenities of home, and was so very spacious to boot! With one teenager and one almost-teenager (plus Mom & Dad), everyone was happy with their own space and their own bed. Three bathrooms was a huge bonus! The kitchen was well-stocked with more than you usually would find in a rental. And, there were all kinds of great beach necessities available for our use as well. We loved the ceiling fans at night, and the master bedroom bathroom was HUGE! Lots of extra linens, lots of places for our family to sit and enjoy a movie (cable + DVD player), and this condo is in a very quiet part of the community. We highly recommend the Turtle House!

This is a home away from home, where all amenities have been thought of and are generously provided. Kitchen utensils, dishes & cookware comprehensive; bathroom towels, TP, soap and shampoo; the beds are comfortable and the linen quality; beach towels and snorkeling gear; outdoor seating comfortable (bbq problems); and close to thee necessities such as the beach, petroglyphs, groceries, cafes and easy access to the highway for northern, southern and eastern excursions. Our visit to the island was made even better with the comfortable accommodations this home provides. The Turtle House is clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and so relaxing. It's proximity to hiking, shopping, restaurants, island sites, and the Beach Club is top-notch. Our stay at the Turtle House was incredibly relaxing. We especially enjoyed watching sunsets from the lanai. The house was spacious and tastefully decorated. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the common swimming pool area. We really enjoyed the Beach Club close to the Mauna Lani resort. The snorkeling was great and the appetizers and drinks at the nearby restaurant were delicious. Review for the Mauna Lani Fairways #1104

Our trip to the island in April of 2015 and our stay at the Turtle House was truly exceptional. This was our first trip to the island and the location of Fairways #1104 offers an amazing opportunity to be close hiking and the many sites and activities the island offers while also providing privacy and relaxation. The house is beautiful and impeccably maintained. All the furniture and beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the items needed to prepare delicious meals that can be enjoyed out on the amazing lanai or in the beautiful dining area. There were four of us (two couples) and we had plenty of space to relax separately or enjoy each other's company. We enjoyed the common swimming pool area and practically had to all to ourselves. One of our favorites was the Beach Club close to the Mauna Lani resort. We had a fantastic time snorkeling and we were able to paddle board for the first time. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit the island and highly recommend it. Reviewed by Kathy for stay April 13-18th, 2015

Great home base on Kohala Coast -- 5 stars

This was our third stay at the Turtle House, and we do not see a need to look anywhere else. Four of us (two couples) had plenty of space to relax and enjoy this great resort area. The unit is clean, bright, and up-to-date. The furnishings are very nice, and the kitchen is fantastic. The appliances all worked well, and the back lanai barbecue was exceptionally good. The beds are in great shape and there is ample storage for clothes and anything else you bring. Having a garage is great for any beach toys, umbrellas, etc. And that upstairs lanai, off the master bedroom -- what a great place to watch the sunset colors toward the north end of the island. There are so many great areas close by. Hapuna Beach State Park is a great place to body or body-board surf. Waimea is a great town in the island interior that has an entirely different climate, less than an hour away. The northern coast up to Hawi is great for whale watching, and Hawi itself is a great place for a day trip. Within the resort itself, the Mauna Lani is very nice. It has its own little shopping center, including a grocery store, which is a huge plus.There are some great restaurants and stores. If you like to golf, the courses here will not disappoint you.

We stayed at the lovely Mauna Lani Condo 1104 for a week in February 2016 The furnishings were first class and in excellent condition. The kitchen was immaculate, extremely well equipped with new dishes, cookware, and every gadget one could ever need. I loved the open feeling of the main floor and the easy access to the private lanai. The barbecue was big and very clean and in good working order. The edrooms and large bathrooms upstairs were spacious and beautifully furnished. The interior colors chosen by the owners are happy and tropical and made me smile the moment we walked in the door. The neighborhood is very peaceful and tranquil and we practically had the swimming pool all to ourselves. We would definitely recommend this Condo with two thumbs up and five stars.

very clean, well-kept home

We stayed in Fairways #1104 from 2/1/18 to 2/24/18. This was our 3rd annual stay in #1104. It is a very clean, well-kept home that is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Last year owners put in a new king-size bed in MB, a new sofa, chairs, wonderful reading lamp for living area and new area rugs. All so well appointed. Linens are always clean, appliances always work and kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, glasses, cooking utensils, pots and skillets, etc. Porch off dining area and upper lanai look out over the 12th tee box on the Mauna Lani North Course. The grounds of the Fairways complex are beautifully landscaped and the common swimming pool area is comfortable and welcoming. We plan to return in 2019.

Petfect Hawaiian Getaway

This was our fourth visit to this unit on the Big Island. We appreciate its ease of access and privacy. The unit has everything you need to feel at home. The pool is great but we spend most of our time at the Beach Club close to the Mauna Lani resort. The beach is pristine and the snorkeling is amazing. It's proximity to Hapuna State Park and the north part of the island (Waimea and Havi) allow for quick trips to an outstanding market and hiking. Having a grocery store (.3 mi) very close is also convenient. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the lanai upstairs. A perfect Hawaiian retreat. The property is as described and pictured and is a nice set up for 2 couples or family of 4.
