Everything was terrific, the bed was comfortable, the views of the golf course were fabulous. As others have mentioned the kitchen was well equipped. The only improvement I can think of would be to have a lighted makeup mirror in the bathroom, because the bathroom was not well lit.

They all enjoyed their stays, we all enjoyed the location and community but our specific unit (903) was by far the best location of them all. The view over the fairway, the sunset behind the palm trees and the short walk to the pool- this spot was the best!!

Perfect Vacation!

Although this was our first trip to Kona we will definitely be back. Mauna Lani resort area is beautiful and the condo was awesome and in a great location. We walked to the local coffee shop each morning and the Foodland grocery was so convenient. The pool was close to the unit and the view out the back patio made for stunning sunset photos!! All around a perfect vacation.

Both my husband and I came to celebrate turning 50 this year. Everything was just as advertised.Communication was top notch! Well stocked,very clean,super comfortable bed and extremely quiet.We enjoyed our morning walks on the nearby beaches,having access to the beach club where there's some of the best snorkeling,so many beautiful fish! and even came across a few turtles to swim with. Pool is just a short walk across from the condo.Countless activities to choose from all around the island.We're already planning on getting back soon. Thank you again for everything!

The condo is well-located within the development, with sweeping fairway views, a palm-lined sunset, and the pool close enough to walk to easily, but well out of hearing. The upstairs and downstairs lanais are absolutely private, and comfortably furnished. The bedrooms are far enough apart for privacy, each with an en suite, and a large TV. The kitchen is well-equipped in terms of cutlery and dishes, and the dining room is spacious. Appliances are modern, and in good repair. The A/C and the many fans provide excellent climate-control. It's important to note that the high ceilings lead to the need for lots of stairs, which could be a consideration for some tenants. It should also be noted that use of the attached garage is not included. Kona Coast Vacations provides very active management, with ongoing contact starting from time of booking, and an efficient concierge service. We were happy with our choice.

Quiet and convenient with great golf course view so private. Short walk to warm pool and spa on property. Good decor, clean, full size washer dryer. All amenities supplied from cooking to shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet and kitchen paper and bags and washing liquid. No need to buy anything for house which is appreciated. All swimming, snorkeling and pool toys supplied. Access to private beach short drive away Management company was instantly responsive pre and during. Kona concierge service was on point and responsive. All in all a fab property. Will definitely stay again. Thank you

We have stayed at the fairways 4 other times in another townhome but it was booked up. Decided to try this place and it was great. Really enjoyed the second floor balcony overlooking the golf course. We were a little worried about noisy golfers but it was quiet and there weren't that many. Cant beat access to the gated beach. Restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. Nice pool we had to our selves several times. Highly recommend this place.

We love the Fairways in general, and have stayed in other condos there. We love this one because of the views of the golf course and sunsets. It's beautifully furnished (although probably not great for kids because of glass tables and fine art that's breakable in places). The proximity to the pool is also great. We would stay here again.

Great Clean Property

Great clean property and very communicative management. We stayed just over one week over new years. The property was in excellent condition and the unit was well stocked/supplied. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, spices, and plastic ware for storage. Ice machine kept up with our family of 5 and everything worked perfectly. There was some snorkeling and beach gear in the garage (one of the chairs and one of the umbrellas were broken), but we didn't really need them. They supplied shampoo and soap which was nice and enough tp and paper towels for the week so we did not need to run out to get more. The Mauna Lani beach was awesome and a great perk. You do have to drive, but the beach is really nice and some of the best snorkeling we had when the water was clear. Once in the water it is rocky (not sharp!) so suggest water shoes if you want to play in the water. We were able to get a cabana most days - no addtl cost! The only thing to be aware of in the unit is there is no door to master bath so privacy may be at a minimum if you have kids that wander or want to use the master shower. Also, the pool was a bit chilly. It was swimmable, but it was Dec/Jan so we kind of expected that. Hot tub was nice as well. One other tip, it is about a 40 minutes to Kona, but a lot of restaurant options at Waikoloa village and Waikoloa beach areas. Would highly recommend this unit and this mgmt company is going to Hawaii again!

We have stayed at Waikoloa many times and driven around Mauna Lani. We wanted to try this property and the condo was exactly what we wanted - and as advertised, It was roomy for the 2 of us, but we really enjoyed the space. We loved the second floor lanai probably the most and sat there often looking over the 12th hole. The resort with private beach is fantastic - the golf even more so. The hosts were excellent in preparing us for Hawaii Covid protocols and we had no issues. Everything was pretty seamless and we would definitely return.

This island home was everything that was advertised. Secure gated community, fantastic views from both lanais, extremely well furnished and equipped and very clean. Just one problem which prevented a 5-star rating - the mattress on the king size bed in the master bedroom was topped with foam apparently in an attempt to hide a sagging, aging, older mattress - seemed out of place with with the overall quality the remainder of the home!

The only problem was the air conditioning unit went out one our last day. Couldn't be fixed in time. Very uncomfortable.

My parents used to own in this development (The Fairways at Mauna Lani) so I knew the golf course fronting units were special - and this one definitely is. Breakfast and evenings on the lanai were always peaceful and private. The interior is spacious and feels practically new. And the access to the Beach Club makes the soft white sand and snorkeling a very short drive away. I would definitely like to return.

Enjoyed a terrific week at the Fairways at Mauna Lani. Spent the early mornings and evenings on the lanai overlooking the golf course and several afternoons at the Beach Club - a benefit included in our stay. Kona Coast Vacations was very responsive and professional when I report a problem with the card key...that turned out to be user error on my part. We will certainly take unit 903 if available the next time we are on the Big Island.

Beautiful Condo

This condo was perfect for the 5 of us (4 adults, 1 child). It was very clean and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the private access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club and spent more than one day there. The home is very spacious and we felt the photos didn’t do it justice! Very lovely condo! We enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay Dec 2018 - Jan 2019. This condo was just as lovely as in the pictures.. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, cookware, bakeware, blender, dishes, cutlery etc. The appliances were clean and in good working order. The bedrooms were spacious. The bed in the master bedroom is extremely soft (personal preference). As far as beach toys go, there was only one boogie board and no sand toys for smaller children. There was a couple of sets of snorkel gear, beach umbrella, beach chairs and a cooler. The pool area was beautiful and we never had a problem finding chairs. There were also some shady spots by the pool. The Mauna Lani private beach is a great perk. We went early to get cabanas several days. The ocean is very calm in this bay. It is also nice to have Lava Flows or chocolate milk shakes on the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

There was four of us staying in the unit. It was very clean and comfortable. When sitting on the lanai it was very peaceful and quiet. We did the manta ray snorkel and lots of other snorkeling - the special highlight was swimming/snorkeling with the dolphins at the Kealakekua Bay. We also did lots of walking/hiking. The Beach Club was great and the snorkeling was amazing! Would recommend staying here.

Beautiful unit that is within walking distance of both the Fairmont Orchid and the local grocery store. Very clean. We spent a lot of mornings on the lanai listening to birds while drinking coffee. Well stocked kitchen, easy to make many meals and a very nice barbeque. Absolutely recommended!

Unit was well appointed, very clean. Had everything you would need for a vacation stay. Loved the beach club Kona coast property mgt was most accommodating with getting us into property a few days earlier than scheduled and for follow thru with checking up on anything we might need. Well equipped luxurious condo. Upstairs lanai was a joy to have morning coffee on. Faces Fairway, but that allowed for sweeping view and quiet atmosphere. Loved it.

Everything was adequate, but nothing stood out. Unit was clean enough, but could have been better (a lot of hair in the 2nd bath). It was well enough equipped, but the beach umbrella was broken and the chairs were on their last legs. The kitchen equipment was adequately equipped, but a little short on tableware variety. So as someone who has stayed in a LOT of vacation rentals, I give it a solid average rating. I liked the location and the complex itself.
