I recently experienced one of the most beautiful sunsets imaginable, with a stunning view overlooking both the ocean and the pool. The colors in the sky were breathtaking, perfectly reflecting off the water and creating a truly magical atmosphere. Every moment felt serene and memorable. I loved everything about it—this spot is truly a slice of paradise! Highly recommended for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty. The AC was an issue for about 10 minutes. Took a shower opens all the door and windows. Plenty of fans. And I was set! Would definitely recommend and stay here again. The pictures don’t make it justice!

Appears stairs remodel was not completed and some funky temporary covering that was not secured was put in place. Dangerous walking down stairs. The unit is good otherwise. Kitchen well stocked. View is fabulous. You must like the sound of pounding surf is right there-you get used to it. Plenty of fans so really no issue with no A/C. Floors needed a much better cleaning. Great pool and BBQ setting.

Sea Village 1101 was a great property for our stay on the Big Island. Kona Coast was a great host also. Only complaint would be the beds a pretty firm and not very comfortable. But the location is amazing to say the least. Was worried about how close it was to the pool but only had one day with some extra loud kids but other than that it was fine.

Location and views are absolutely amazing! Couldn’t ask for more. Unit had everything we needed including beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc. kitchen was fully functional. Our only suggestions would be; window sills/windows in kitchen could use a deep cleaning and although we understood the rubber stair covers, we felt they were more unsafe than the actual stairs themselves. The slipped off the stairs, and the edges bent down giving you the feeling you were going to slide off the stair. The day we got there it smelled like a tire shop but by the time we left that smell was gone. All in all we loved the unit and would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to stay!! You can’t beat the views, property was clean, and close to anything you need. The extra beach gear was awesome to have, and the kitchen is well equipped. We cooked in 4 of the nights we stayed here. We would definitely stay here again!

Family very much enjoyed our stay. Some of the permanent residents at Sea Village were not that friendly. I couldn't imagine living in paradise and taking it for granted. The pool area does have some extremely ridiculous rules.... i.e. no marco polo?..... this would definitely be a great stay for an older couple. No laundry to be used between 9pm-8am which is difficult as we were out exploring the island most of the days. Quite time / pool closes at 9pm and kids were scolded prior to that for playing "loudly" at the pool. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Our family personally wouldn't stay here again. Kona Coast Vacations however were extremely helpful with everything we needed!

The condo had everything we needed and then some. The location was close enough to walk to grab a bite to eat or do a little shopping. Having a lanai off the living room and primary bedroom overlooking the ocean was wonderful, and a great way to fall asleep and wake up! The last afternoon of our trip we saw some whales while sitting on the lanai downstairs and quickly went upstairs so we could get a better view and it was amazing - we were able to watch multiple whales for hours! The grills and seating areas are right next to the condo as well as the pool and we utilized all of it. No having air conditioning was not an issue for us. The other convenient feature was the washer and dryer, this was the second half of our trip and knowing that the unit had a washer/dryer helped us to not overpack. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our vacation was wonderful. The views were absolutely beautiful. I seriously think we picked the perfect place. The location was great. I have already told friends and family about this place and we’ll definitely be coming back. The home was amazing. It had everything we needed. One thing I would’ve loved was to have had maybe a full length mirror in either one of the bathrooms or the bedrooms and maybe a few hooks to hang our towels Other than that everything was perfect. Oh, and I also love the fact that you guys were so attentive to every single one of my emails that I sent out and your quick responses even while we were there. We did have the power outage but you were quick to report what was going on. We just so happen to be gone most of that day so there was no inconvenience at all with that. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back.

Lovely condo, as advertised in the photos. Not having A/C was a concern at first, but the deck faces NW and has a drop down screen so it was shaded almost the entire day and it stayed cool. We lived on the deck - ate all of our meals there, played cards in the evening, and enjoyed the breeze and the view, including sunsets and dolphins. Beds were comfortable and property owners very responsive when we had a few small issues (broken fan, light bulbs out.)

As with most older properties, the exterior of the building is showing some wear and age, but is kept up very well. The grounds are nicely landscaped and maintained. This condo was clean and very well equipped. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed to get us started for our week of vacation. Plenty of beach gear and towels as well. Being an end unit, there were plenty of windows to open to take advantage of island breezes, and with the shades lowered in the mid-afternoon, the unit keep quite cool with just breezes and fan. It also felt quite private and quiet despite proximity to the pool and all those windows. Geographic location also quite nice, given convenience to downtown Kona and oceanfront placement. The layout is a little funky with a few tighter than ideal spaces, but overall worked well for our needs. The furniture is showing its age, but was reasonably comfortable. The beds were a little on the firm side, without being super supportive, and the upstairs master bedroom floor creaks a bit. These are all really minor concerns, and are definitely the worst things I can say about this property. All in all, it is an excellent place with absolutely killer views all around and a wonderful place to spend a week. Additionally, the concierge and the property management were both extremely easy to work with, and were very accommodating. Two thumbs way up for this one. Will rebook here!

The unit is spacious, has great view of the ocean and has all the gears you need for the beach, amenities on site are good (pool, BBQ) and location is great. Communication with the staff is great and they responded quickly to maintenance request. My only complaint is that the master bathroom needs some work, it's dated and the shower curtain is too short so that water spill all over, we ended up all using the other bathroom for shower.

Aside from seeing an erupting volcano, this condo was our kids' favorite part of the Big Island. The views from the two lanais were gorgeous, and as beautiful as they look in the photos. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was supplied with all the dishes, pots, and pans you could need, and the larger property is lushly landscaped with a very nice pool. There is no a/c, but there are ample fans in all of the rooms. With fans on and windows open (there are screens), we were quite comfortable sleeping. Listening to the surf at night was so soothing. Communication was very good. When the unit was ready early, they called us while we were still collecting our bags at the airport to let us know that we could check in early, if we wished. It was a lovely stay, and we would book it again and recommend it to our friends.

The property was even better than the pictures show! The lanai on both floors overlooking the ocean was amazing. Most of our time was spent looking at the ocean and we even spotted whales one morning. It was just my husband and I but there was a second bedroom big enough for two more people or children if you have a family. The unit is immaculately clean and well cared for as is the entire property. Communications with Kona Coast was always prompt and informative. We would definitely recommend our friends and family stay there and especially 1101!

Waking up to the sound of the waves crashing into the rocks would never get old. We could see fish swimming from our lanai and even spotted some dolphins playing in the water. The giant windows allow for you to do dishes or cook while watching people parasail, boats go by, and in the right season I bet you could even see whales. Their was everything we could want for cooking, even with a party of 6 adults. Also found snorkeling gear, body boards, and pool noodles in the closet. Was an amazing stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay within walking distance to downtown but still far enough that you don't feel like you're in the middle of a city.

Unbeatable Views

You stay here for the unbeatable views, location, and space. As a family of 4, it was important for us to have separate bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen to cook, and washer/dryer. The layout of the condo is perfect. This corner unit view can't be beat. You see ocean views everywhere downstairs, and the master bedroom and upstairs bathrooms. It feels like you're practically in the water (probably actually about 24 feet away). The location is great, being close to Kona but in a quiet spot. The rules are strictly enforced for pool hours and quiet time, so you'll get your peace and quiet. Keep in mind this place does not have a/c and it can get miserably hot even with all the fans and wearing next to nothing and windows open, and there are some bugs here and there. I knew to expect both situations from the description on the condo and reviews but definitely consider those things and if that will be tolerable for you. The first night was rough with the heat but then I think we acclimated and it was tolerable. You will see ant traps they've set out with lots of ants in them, kill a bug here and there, and once I had to kill about 10 bugs on my kid's bathroom ceiling before their bath and we did see 1 cockroach. It was ok for us as we heard it's part of island life and I'm not sensitive to bugs and the ocean views made up for it but good to know going into this booking. I will probably look for a place with a/c (I've stayed in hotels with them on most of the islands, so I know they exist) next time, but we still enjoyed our stay. Have fun in Hawaii!

The views were incredible! The condo was well maintained. We had a wonderful time! My two sisters in law saw dolphins one morning at the window. Called property manager about a broken fan and they sent a replacement the next day! My one suggestion is that because there's no ac that back room gets pretty warm, I think it's important to have 4 working fans in the unit. Loved the place and our time in Hawaii! Would come back to this place in a heartbeat! Aloha!

The location is great and the view from the lanais is even better than the advertised photos. I would definitely stay again, but there is one thing I would recommend future visitors pay attention to. The unit website says no air conditioning, and that is true. There are ceiling fans, and at least 5 portable fans in the unit that can be moved around depending on where you may want them. We weren't in the unit much during the heat of the day, and the bedrooms have ceiling fans, so sleeping was comfortable. I may well return, and if I do, I may consider going to Walmart to buy a portable air conditioner unit and just leave it there when I leave.

We just returned from an amazing trip I had to sea village 1101 by kona coast vacations. I have stayed with Kona Coast vacations one time previously and also had an amazing experience. This particular unit is right on the water, has great views of the sunset, and enough room for everyone in our party to enjoy your stay. The unit was very clean and well maintained, was a gorgeous property, had a nice pool and barbecue area. I would definitely stay here again! In fact, the unit was so beautiful and comforting but I decided to propose to my fiancé while we were staying at the condo. The property management company Kona Coast vacations was very responsive to everything that we reached out to them for, we’re very kind and courteous, they even called to reach out to us on the first day to make sure everything was to your satisfaction. I can’t recommend staying with them enough!

We were shocked how close we really were to the ocean and were grateful for the expansive views. We could watch surfers in the bay to the north, walk downtown easily and always had a place to park the rental. The location was also handy in that it was on the ground floor and literally right next to the pool entrance. We joked it was the best location in the complex. The unit walked out to a common area that offered views, picnic tables and grills. The kitchen was nicely equipped and all appliances were updated. The furnishings and style were also up to date and allowed for everyone to have a seat in the family room plus two options for seating, inside and outside. There was ample closet space and the bathrooms had hot water and nice shower heads. If I were to change one thing it would be to update the mattress in the master to a firmer one, but it might just be my personal preference. My husband slept just great on it.

Sea Village 1101 is a wonderful treasure. Beautiful Sunsets, lots of action on the water from dolphins , parasailing, surfing and the list goes on. The unit is equipped with everything you could need.. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
Perfect vacation spot!

The pictures don't do this property justice! The views were incredible! The waves crashing put us to sleep every night. We enjoyed sunsets on the patio and playing cards with our kids at night. The pool was refreshing, although the hot tub was closed. We had everything we needed from kitchen to beach supplies. The highlight of the trip was golf for my husband and son and scuba diving for me and my daughter. This island is very relaxing but has all that you need. We BBQd a couple nights, had great dinners at Lava Java and Dons on the Beach. It's a long drive to Hilo but worth it to see the lush gardens and waterfalls. All in all this was a perfect vacation spot and our family really enjoyed it.

Wonderful location with great views! I miss waking up to the sounds of crashing waves. Clean and accurate description. Dishwasher had issues upon arrival and the handyman was quick to fix and friendly.

We stayed for a week. The ocean was wild the first couple of days with waves sometimes reaching our balcony! The condo was very comfortable and was well stocked with dishes, towels, etc.

Just as it looks and a better location than most condos in Kailua-Kona. Super handy to shops and restaurants, equipment rentals, etc, with great snorkeling just down the road. The unit is right at the pool, right at the barbecue area, and the upstairs/downstairs lanais really do hang right over the waves crashing on the black lava boulders. We loved it.

Wonderful location, stellar views of the ocean, close to all of the shops in restaurants in Kona and central to major highways for trips around the island. Could have stayed as a family of six, plenty of space! Will stay again and a must recommend for friends and family. Service and hospitality was top notch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit. The view is exactly as advertised. The property location is perfect and while the unit is literally directly next to the pool, other tenants follow the pool hours and it was not an issue. The only thing that could have been improved would be air conditioning as there is no air in the unit and it was hot during our visit. There are plenty of ceiling fans and regular fans that are provided to assist. We would happily come back

We have stayed in 3 of the 4 buildings at Sea Village and this one is our favorite! Our 3rd time in this unit which we refer to as "our Home Away From Home". This beautiful condo is a corner unit with two water front lanais. Upstairs master has one as well as the living room. The kitchen has everything you need to cook inside or bbq on the grills just outside the front door. The pool is also located just near the entry and socializing with other tenants adds to the fun. The sunsets are memorable and the quiet early morning time on the lanai starts your day with zen. The grounds are very well kept. The staff on premises are accommodating and check in is flawless! We always love to see what "finds" are in the closet for use. This year was a cooler which we took to the beach everyday. Great beach chairs to use, some snorkel gear and floaties. The location of this unit is away from parking , close enough to carry items in but far enough that you do not hear vehicle noise. Sea Village is perfectly situated to walk into town if you like or minutes in the car. We cook in the condo, shop at nearby Safeway, Walmart, Costco and Farmers Markets. Great restaurants are close as well. We even Uber'd to the beach when others in our party went hiking on the other side of the island. Love, Love Love this unit. Best location, best property, best rental ease/communication!

The ocean/village view from this condo were amazing. The sunsets spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay. The unit is a bit dated and could use a bit of work. However it was clean and had a good layout. The complex it is in is older but seemed well maintained. The swimming pool was a great end to a busy day. We will stay here again on our next trip 😁

This condo was the perfect place for our family of four to relax and visit with local friends for a week. We enjoyed the pool, snorkeling with dolphins and manta rays, and took in a luau at the Sheraton. Highly recommend all three. House is well equipped with linens and a washer/dryer in the unit. Kitchen was well stocked (we even had what we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner!).

Very clean and mostly updated unit. The unit was stocked with everything you need (except the food of course). We slept very well at night with the balcony doors open listening to the ocean waves below us. The rental company was very responsive to an issue we were having with the tv remote and were immediately over with a new one. Highly recommend this unit and the rental company.

The location and view were great.The condition of the condo was adequate. I booked it knowing that there was no air conditioning and thought that would be fine. I was wrong. It was hotter than normal due to low trade winds and the rooms were 95 degrees in the afternoon. The pool was also very warm and was not the needed escape from the heat. Next time I come to Hawaii I will look for a place with AC.

This condo is in the perfect location in the complex. Sweeping views of the water and sunset, right next to the pool, and close to the shared grills. The condo is well provisioned - kitchen has all we needed to cook and the laundry machines are super helpful after days in the sun and sand. Only two downsides: No AC - it was hot. The fans and breeze helped, but required sleeping with the doors open. Property location pin on VRBO is wrong. It shows the unit right in the main drag - it isn't. It is a mile down the coast - to far to walk to dinner comfortably.

Our stay at Sea Village 1101 was good. The location is great for visiting Kona. The condo itself is located right beside the pool is convenient but can be a little loud. The condo was clean but could use some updating and several doors were sticking- the downstairs bathroom door would not shut entirely. The management provided good customer service. I would recommend this property especially because of the spectacular views.

We had a 10 day stay here in Dec 2016. Top floor oceanfront condo, we could see yellow tangs darting in the clear turquoise water beneath us. Staff at the resort were friendly and relaxed. We didn't use the pool or the onsite barbecues, but they looked very nice. The grounds are well-kept and other guests mostly respected the quiet-hours. Ensuite laundry is nice. Location is about a mile south of the commercial/tourist district in Kailua-Kona, and it was nice to be nearby yet out of the busy area. Bed and furniture were reasonably comfortable, not the best, but no real complaints. Great kitchen. Premises were clean. Would definitely stay here again, The way these condos are laid out, they feel very private and secluded, and even though it's just off a busy road, the proximity to the ocean drowns out any traffic noise and it really feels like its just you and the ocean. This is our 2nd time in this unit and our 4th time at Sea Village. It is the only place we will stay in Kona. The location is perfect and exactly what you expect a Hawaiian vacation to be. Oceanfront! Waves continuously crashing the surf, unobstructed sunsets and a beautifully manicured property. Situated close to town, you can walk or drive to restaurants, the funnest beaches, shopping etc. We keep our circle tight. Magic Sands is our favorite daily beach. Shopping for condo goods is easy at Walmart and Safeway after getting coffee from Starbuck's. (Seattelites) This condo is next to the pool and the has the side wall of windows for a view and the 2 lanais are the best! We spend days at the beach so the people in the pool are not an issue. We have seen whales and spinner dolphins from this condo. It is by far the best unit on the property with the parking lot close but not too close. The bbq grills are near the front door and eating in is easy. The condo has everything we needed. The beds are comfy and the dining room is recently updated. We lacked for nothing. Having the w/d is helpful for beach towels etc. We are a party of 6 and fit comfortably in this unit. We rented mopeds and drove to the End of the Earth where we jumped off a 30 ft cliff into the ocean. Then lunched at Sam Choy's, a place not to be missed! The moped rental was 24 hrs so we got up in the morning and drove to coffee and more! Happy hour at Huggo's On The Rocks with our feet in the sand, brunch at Fish Hoppers and a stop at Bubba Gump's for the trivia. The bike rentals on Alli'i Drive were cheap but worth it for a morning ride along the seawall. We tried a new beach, just passed the airport, Kua Bay. Good surf, much bigger beach than Magic Sands and there is a food truck! We will be back to this very spot in 2 yrs. It is perfection. My only complaint? I never have enough time there!!!

This place was fabulous. Very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Snorkels, fins, beach toys and chairs. The pool and hot tub area were very clean. The only thing I would suggest is air conditioning in the bedrooms. We would definatly stay here again.

We loved our brief stay at Sea Village. We especially liked this unit and plan to return in the future. The only thing we would suggest is AC......or more portable fans. I usually go to Hawaii in the winter and the weather is usually not so hot. It was a hot October!

We stayed 16-30 November 2016 in condo is a perfect location and would stay here again.The only problem we saw were some of the windows didn't close all the way. Seemed like they were broken. (Windows in Kitchen, one in dining room, both upstairs bathrooms, master one on east side) Also it would be nice if the floors in both bedrooms were fixed so they didn't make so much noise downstairs. Would be nice to have a clock in each bedroom.Overall very nice place to stay.
