Location of Unit Can't Be Beat

The location of the unit can’t be beat. Close enough to walk into historic Kona, directly on the ocean with great views to the west. Whale watching and sunsets from the deck were fabulous. The unit itself was a bit tired in that the shower door tracks and fixtures had rusted areas. The kitchen is not well supplied. We had to call to get hot pads and a baking sheet pan. Which was delivered the same day as it was requested. The refrigerator went out and we ended up having to get a loner. Space got tight with the loner frig, as the broken one remained in place waiting for parts. The management team addressed the frig. issue immediately the day I called. There was a blender available and I used it for smoothies but it leaked. The cooking knives were marginal at best and the sink/disposal were both missing strainers/covers.

This condo Wazs awesome! Very clean, everyday items provided. The view from the lanai were un beatable. We saw whales breech 4 different times. I highly recommend this condo. The only thing I wish they had was an elevator. The waves from the lanai were absolutely stunning

This condo was perfect in every way! Great location, can walk to downtown Kona if you don’t mind a little bit of walk. The condo was clean and had everything we needed: beach towels, beach chairs and even a cooler. The view was amazing, right on the ocean, you’re on the 3rd floor so you have a great view of the ocean and down the coast a bit. Highly recommend this location and rental!

The space worked fine for us. Being right on the ocean was great! We liked the kitchen supplies. Stocked better than most places we have rented. Had storage containers for food, ziplock bags, plastic wrap. We didn't really need to bring anything. More than enough pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.

We booked to stay at the Sea Village unit 4307. We were extremely satisfied with the unit, the complex and the concierge service through Kona Coast Vacations. The unit is in a great location. You can see Kona Harbour, many dolphins, whales, cruise ships and more from the lanai. The unit is clean, we'll set up, has everything you will need for your vacation. Parking is close and always available. The pool and hottub area are great for relaxing and you might even get light sea spray sitting in the hottub. Access to Kona and all amenities is good. The Green Flash coffee shop on the property is great. There are BBQs by the pool. Overall a great place to stay in Kona.

The whole process from booking to checkout was effortless. We had all the information needed a few days before check-in and never once had an issue with the condo or the property in general. The view was breathtaking and we hope to stay again sometime!

Overall, this was a good property. The view was beautiful and it was wonderful to hear the waves lapping up on the shore. The unit was clean and well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, etc (even though we didn't use it). Centrally located and just a bit out of town which was nice. The screen door was loose and oftentimes came off the tracks. It was easily fixed for the short term but probably a good suggestion to get it fixed permanently. The pool key did not work but when I contacted maintenance, they had someone replace it immediately. Also, my 21 year old son who is 6'5” did not fit comfortably in the twin bed. It was too short for him. Overall a good stay and I would absolutely recommend as a great place to stay.

Great Experience

Aloha! We just returned from our vacation and I'm so sad it came and went so quickly. We had a great experience with this rental, easy to find, easy to get in and out of, close to downtown Kona. We were there for the 4th of July and instead of driving to find a spot or pay for parking we were within walking distance of the parade and fireworks display downtown. As a family what we enjoyed most was the lanai, hands down a highlight every morning for coffee, and a cocktail at sunset. Cannot beat a Kona Sunset from this lanai. We were able to see the manta's down by the rocks at night time flipping around in the water. The kitchen was fully stocked, ice maker worked great. It was a very comfortable and accommodating rental. I'd say the only thing that needs to be looked at would be the screen door out to the lanai, it needs replaced at some point, but just be gentle with it. We also worked with David in Concierge and he was great, he booked us for Surf Lessons, a Luau experience, and Ziplining. He was always available to answer questions and gave great tips and informational emails prior to our arrival. This was a great place to stay. Thanks!

Will definitely return

Really enjoyed my stay at this unit at the Sea Village. The property itself is very nice and well kept. Check in was seamless. Unit is as advertised right on the water with a nice big balcony for relaxing and enjoying your meals. My only complaint is that I'm used to staying at places where people leave what they don't use for spices and non perishables for the next guest so your not starting out from scratch, this unit didn't have salt and pepper or any oils or anything for cooking. I also had to buy a baking sheet for the oven to bake a few things, and there was not an oven mitt to be found, but that's minor. The unit is very comfy, couches and beds are nice. Good linens and towels. It was spotless upon arrival. The pool area is great, nice pool, has a spa tub (I never used it so can't comment on how it was) and there is lots of loungers. The bbq area is very nice, with 4 bbqs. Parking was never an issue without having assigned stalls, always a stall close to the building. I will definitely return in the future

Watched the Dolphins

My favorite part of this place was sitting outside on the balcony and drinking coffee in the morning and watching dolphins. The pool/hot tub were a major bonus as well. It's a bit louder than other places we have stayed (you hear everyone in the parking lot and noise in other condos from time to time). Not a deal breaker in any way but something we all noticed. The ocean is loud enough to cover anything from the balcony though!! Communication with renting company was great! The ceiling fan broke the first night we were there and they offered to have someone come fix it right away. You know your on an island, there are tiny ants around (not a bother though) and the sliding door was salty and barely cooperated - but those were small things. The location in town was fun - close, but not too close to all the action. The coffee shop out front was cute and delicious as well. The pool by the ocean was such a fun bonus! I would book it again in a heartbeat. Aloha!!!

The condo was clean and close to many beaches and down town Kona. Great view. Kitchen had needed pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc. Condo also had boogie boards, beach chairs and small cooler. There was no AC, which was the only downside (but we knew this when booking). There are fans in living room and bedrooms, plus additional floor fans which helped. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Great location and unit for our family. Pool was perfect for my daughter although very cold for me to attempt. Parking was easy but be mindful there were a lot of stairs being on the 3rd floor. My only negative was a frog out the bedroom window that kept us up at night. We searched for him during the day but no luck. It was difficult to fall asleep as he was very noisy

Enjoyed our Stay!

The view from the lanai is great. We enjoyed listening to the ocean waves crash against the rocks. The lanai is private from other units. This unit is set up great for families. We were happy to have two bedrooms and bathrooms. All of the furnishings were comfortable and clean. The unit does not have air conditioning. We were there the first week in August and it was in the mid 80’s. The unit has plenty of fans to help but depending on when you visit AC would be nice. So sleeping with the windows open was a must. Unfortunately both bedrooms overlook the parking lot. There were a few nights that we were awaken by loud people and car doors closing. We typically ate our meals on the lanai. We did eat inside when it was raining because the lanai isn’t completely covered. The unit does not have an indoor dining table so we ate at the peninsula which is fine. As the pictures show there are only 3 bar stools. It would have been nice to have had 4. There is plenty of room for them. All in all we we enjoyed our stay. Thank you

This is a great condo overlooking the beautiful pacific ocean. The place is a little run down, but otherwise great. Had everything we needed. We did have a small ant issue (on the kitchen counter) but once I wiped it down that seemed to take care of the issue. We would absolutely come back to this location! The access to all the shops are right down the street. The pool was great. Highly recommend this unit!

Perfectly located!

We had an amazing time. The location couldn't be better. We could walk or take short drives to many beaches and shops. Local coffee and shave ice just 2 minutes walking away. Kids were on WiFi for school with no issues. We saw whales and spinner dolphins several times from our balcony! Condo was perfect size for a family of 5 with nice and cozy furniture in living room and fully equipped kitchen. I would book this unit again if we come back to Kona

The condo complex is amazingly well maintained with nice gardens, fresh paint etc. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on site which we appreciated. The pool has lots of seating and is very clean. The barbecues are so clean they look brand-new. The condo was very comfortable. I only have one minor suggestion for the condo unit ... change the deck chairs on the lanai to an outdoor sofa set. All in all it was a super accommodation.

Beautiful condo in a great location. Short walk into downtown. Spent every morning and evening on the lanai, enjoying the view and listening to the waves. Had a couple of small problems which were resolved quickly. Couldn't figure out how to use the washing machine though. Clean and well appointed, looks just like the photos

Wonderful 10 day vacation

We stayed at Sea Village 4307 and had a wonderful 10 day vacation. Walking into the condo and feeling the trade winds flow while the sound of waves were crashing below the lanai was exactly what we wanted. The living area (Family room, kitchen, lanai) was large and clean. We didn't cook because there were too many amazing restaurants nearby, but the updated appliances and gigantic island separating the kitchen and family room were appreciated. The screen door to the lanai has a small "catch" that prevented a smooth glide to open at times, but that was so minor compared to the view which was amazing. We watched about a dozen dolphins so close that we did not need binoculars. The master bedroom was nice, with plenty of closet space and the master bath had a nice size shower (good water pressure). My husband had a difficult time sleeping past 7 am because it faces east so even with the appropriate vertical blinds, it still got light in the room and you did get some noise from the parking lot below; however, there was a large tree outside the window that seemed to provide a good barrier and the condo is toward the end of the property, so the noise was minimal. The 2nd bedroom was good, we used it to store our suitcases and I napped in there one day (short beds, so good for kids or shorter adults). Location of the condo was perfect!! Far enough from town that you didn't get the traffic noise, but close enough to enjoy happy hours, restaurants and shopping. We spent a good amount of time on north shore beaches and hiking and felt the condo was easy to come and go to these locations. Overall, we really enjoyed this condo and would highly recommend

Fully enjoyed our stay. The unit is very well equipped, complete with snorkeling gear and a buggy board, and very comfortable. It's in a very convenient location, close to the town of Kona and also close to major highways and also close to some very nice snorkeling locations. There were minor ant visits in the kitchen, but nothing to be alarmed about, the solution may be worse than the problem. Clean, quiet and comfortable...enjoy.

Saw spinner dolphins and humpback whales from our lanai!

Best feature of this property is the location. Our uni had an unobstructed view of Kailua Bay. We saw spinner dolphins and humpback whales from the lanai every day of our stay. The unit was as advertised, but be advised there is no elevator or air conditioning. One big negative is that the bedrooms overlook the parking lot so it can be really noisy early am if you have the windows open.

One of the best places we have stayed in Sea Village or anywhere. Well furnished kitchen and linens. Comfy king size bed. Fantastic view. Spinner dolphins in the bay almost every day. Easy to keep cool even without AC. Maintenance management company was extremely friendly and helpful. The couple minor maintenance issues were corrected immediately. Definitely stay here the next time we come over.
