Was good place to stay for Ironman week although be aware on race day that Alii Drive gets locked down for most of race day. Seemed very expensive but Ironman week seemed to be expensive everywhere. Nice facilities, nice quiet pool, kitchen and bathrooms seemed quite new and modern.

I would like to take a moment to tell you about our trip. Alii Villas 228 could not be beat. It was clean, beautiful and so comfortable. We watched the sunset every night on the balcony with the most perfect view. We will definitely return and will recommend to all our friends and family. While we do look for places with a capacity of 12 family members, the Alli Village was very nice. Everyone had lovely condo facility. the pool was wonderful, and the location was great. We only wish the big island had more convenient and less expensive sandy beaches to enjoy. This place was very nice and staff accommodating for questions asked. Thank you.

This is my fifth time to stay in Ali'i Villas 228. The new remodel surely improved this condo. I was impressed by the intelligent design of the kitchen, baths, and floors. Thanks so much! It was great having beach chairs, boogey boards, etc. Please provide Ice Trays for the fridge and cutting boards so we don't have to use the lovely counter tops. The pots and pans and skillets were all great and appreciated. Have your cleaners wet mop the new floors; dusting does not get all the dirt which if barefoot feet get black on the bottom. We saw whales off the common area at the sea shore and also from our lanai. What a treat! A bit pricey for the condo, but me and my friend both loved it.

Our condo was amazing, it looked way better in person than the photos! The view was stupendous. Every detail we could have needed was there, boogie boards, beach towels, chairs, and more! The lanai was fantastic to relax on. We loved the complex, clean, great bbq's, everyone went down to the water and railing to watch the sunset with their drinks! Great location, attention to detail and an easy walk to town! Will stay again for sure!

We had an amazing time in our Alii Villas #228. The unit has been freshly remodeled, with air conditioners added...A big plus! It's a small two bedroom unit, but takes advantage of every square inch. We did have a couple of issues, the new dishwasher didn't work, no broom, no toilet plunger, one air conditioner needed repairs....but one phone call and all was taken care of within a matter of minutes. We would definitely stay there again. I would suggest a couple of things...a king bed in the master bedroom. That was the smallest queen bed ever! And beach chairs! I've traveled to Kona 37 times and have always had beach chairs. We ended up spending over $100 on a couple of chairs, which I left with friends.

In 2018 other family and friends came at the same time as us and we all stayed here. And now for 2023! Great location, nice size condo for what we needed. They could use some upgrades for sure. Carpet is filthy, we had to call the cleaners back due to master bath wasn't clean and had a clog. This condo is in a good location, has two separate sleeping areas, and has a nice lanai, but it does need a little bit of TLC. Its nice and clean, and its great that they have some snorkel and beach stuff for your use, but it looses a star because the carpet is old and at least needs a good deep clean and the towels are a bit dingy and need to be replaced. They could also stand to invest in a few other updates like counters etc. If not for these aesthetic issues, it would have been perfect. When something did go wrong (one of the shower knobs came off and we couldn't shut the water off) management had a handyman there within an hour to fix it. Was very happy with that. So with just a few updates I'd give it 5 stars.

We really appreciated the air condition. Alii Villas is a beautiful complex well maintained. The property description was very accurate. The lanai was great with perfect view of the ocean. Beach chairs and lots of beach towels were provided. We had all the amenities required for condo living and even more. We would definitely go back.

Though the kitchen was flooded a caused clogged drain pipe after our arrival, the repair staff came soon. And wine opener and can opener were broken, but brought us new ones soon. The condo was exactly as described and had everything we needed with very comfortable furniture and a well equipped kitchen. The snorkeling and beach gear was a bonus. The pool is one of the best I have seen and the communal BBQ area was very clean and well laid out. The ocean view from the lanai was brilliant. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Overall, we were satisfied with this property. The accommodations were clean, albeit, a bit dated. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the necessary utensils and requirements to entertain and serve meals, including the onsite BBQs. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the lanai, overlooking the ocean. We also liked having a reserved parking spot for the unit.
The only major improvement I would request is to have a better air conditioner for the master bedroom. We were two couples staying at this property, so we had to close the sliding doors to the master bedroom at night for privacy. It was stifling hot in the bedroom, even with the ceiling fan on, as we were cut off from the cool air coming from the living room air conditioning unit.

We loved our stay at this place. The owner stocked the condo with all necessities. There was scuba gear and even sand toys for the kids. There was even a high chair for the baby. Though it was not air conditioned, the cooling fans in each room make it very comfortable! The only downside is no elevator so if you have a lot of stuff them it can be hard to get up. They even allowed early check in which was great for us! We will definitely stay there again

This was a beautiful condo with a great view. The added Climate control units were wonderful on the hot night where you had no breeze. Thank you letting us stay here.

The condo is very nice with an excellent view and close to town. Well maintained and equipped. Will definitely rent here again.
