The condo had everything that we needed and more. A fully stocked kitchen, all the chairs and supplies you'd need for the beach, comfortable beds, lovely balcony with pretty views. The location is within walking distance to a beach (A Bay), lots of dining and shopping. The property grounds are well-kept and pretty. Beautiful flowers and the pool is nice. Property management is very professional responds immediately to concerns/issues and very clear check in and out procedures. Communication was great. I would definitely stay here again. This was my second stay at this complex and first at this particular unit.

We just completed our second stay in Vista Waikoloa D201 managed by Kona Coast Vacations (KCV). The unit is ideal for our needs: conveniently located, excellent amenities, beautifully updated decor, well maintained, and competitively priced. Moreover, it was a real pleasure working with Kona Coast Vacations again this year. The staff is always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and so easy to reach! Their booking system is well designed and the process is easy to use with great follow up communication. We have had success with several management companies throughout the State of Hawaii, yet KCV really stands out as the best among them. I'll use VRBO or AirBnB for other destinations, but not for Big Island; KCV is a far better option for whatever type of Big Island property type or vacation rental location you are seeking.

This was probably the nicest and cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Absolutely spotless, comfortable. The surrounding complex was lovely. The only drawback was that it was quite a drive (45 minutes) from the best snorkeling on the island. Despite that, we would stay here again!

I enjoyed working with Kona Coast Vacations on my renace to vacation condo rental in Waikoloa. The KCV team was quick to respond to questions, generally answering my call immediately and emails promptly, even during off hours. The rental process was very well organized with a follow up call after our arrival to confirm we were happy and make recommendations for our stay. Most of all, the unit itself was in perfect condition from the cleaning and maintenance to decor and amenities provided. D-201 is One of Our Favorites!

As a prior owner of a condo in the Vistas (A-106), our family has returned numerous times to rent different units at the Vistas for our stay. We can say that of all the units we've rented, D-201 is among our favorites! First off, it was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The unit was quiet and private. We loved spending time on BOTH lani's as one offered wonderful vistas of the volcanos, and the other side felt like sitting in a private garden with the palms blowing in the wind. The lani furnature is more comfortable than most of the other condos we've rented in the past- and this made a difference for us.
We appreciated access to a well-stocked outside locker with a wide variety of beach and ocean necessities. We liked the key code front door access, which helped us enter more easily without having to be with the person with the key to enter the condo. The pictures/artwork around the condo were nice and tasteful. It was easy to operate the fans and the lighting in the condo as everything was well described. The furniture was comfortable but not high quality. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable and apprenticed the extra blankets in the closets. The plates, glasses and silverware seemed like a assorted collection from many different places. The master bathroom was good, but we were not sure why there are no hooks for hanging wet suits, etc?
Finally, we really appreciated that David (and other concierges) kept in touch with us and offered to help however he was able, especially in booking trips. When we called with a question about the condo, we got a prompt and helpful reply from your business desk. Thank you for the suggestion of booking right through Kona Coast Vacations in the future. We will be back at D-201 again!

We had a wonderful short stay at Vista Waikoloa D201! The unit is conveniently located in the Waikoloa Beach Resort area, either a short drive or a longer walk away from beautiful A-Bay beach, nearby shops and restaurants. The unit itself is clean and well maintained with plenty of room, comfortable beds and living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and lots of outdoor lanai space as well. Beach towels were provided, but we did not find any other beach equipment in the unit. We found this to be a convenient location for our exploring on the Kona side of the island, which included a day at Hapuna Beach State Park just 15 minutes to the north and a day trip to Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park and other sights further south on the Big Island. Complex was very quiet and we would not hesitate to book this unit again!

For the price this property is the best location in the area. We've stayed at a few of the different properties here in Waikoloa. The Vistas is great because of the huge lanai's, nice pool and common area. Walkable to Hilton, Marriott (A-Bay beach), and shops. The condo was really clean, upon entering there was the beach towels. We were given 4 for the two of us, vs the 2 promised so that was nice. There is nothing in the kitchen you would need that isn't provided. The appliances are top notch. The furniture was comfortable for the evenings in front of the TV. Although, the TV didn't seem to have more than 10 channels just repeated vs what was shown in the book provided. We also did not have any beach items. A small cooler would be nice. I suspect there may have been things in the lanai closet but we were not given the key. The app was helpful to give lots of ideas for food, things to do. They reach out to you on your first day to offer any extra help needed. The beds were fine, those are just one of those things that one person will love but not another. The shower in the master was a bit small but the bathrooms themselves have been upgraded from the original. Plenty of items supplied, shampoo etc. and paper products. I could have used a dirty clothes hamper or basket. No hot sun on lanai in the afternoons. Private and very little road noise. I would stay at this condo again.

This place really took our breath away. It was impeccably clean (I'm picky) and the furnishings all looked brand new. It was very spacious and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, dishes, and spices we needed to cook multiple meals. The lanai was huge, and comfortable, and the complex was very quiet. We especially appreciated all of the beach gear provided, including multiple chairs, beach umbrellas, pool and sand toys, coolers, and a great little wagon to lug everything to the beach. The pool is huge, heated to a perfect temperature, and 3 1/2 feet deep, which was great for my 6 year-old. I only wish that beach access was a bit closer, as it is quite a hike to get to A-bay on foot, but it's a very short drive. Overall we were very happy with our stay at this unit!

The balcony was huge and we used it a lot for meals and lounging.
The grounds were very well kept and maintained daily
The extra amenities such as wagon, 4 beach chairs, variety of coolers, 2 umbrellas, boogie boards, pool noodles, etc. was a very pleasant surprise

We had a very nice stay. The condo complex has a great pool and is walking distance to two shopping malls and two hotels and beach. It is quiet and residential. It is easily accessible by highway and you can do day trips to anywhere on the island. The condo itself is well designed with good furniture and well laid out kitchen. Giant fridge! And an outdoor closet with a lot of beach gear. Air conditioning and fans to keep you cool

Loved! Loved! Loved! With its recent and modern updates, this unit was a stylish and comfortable home away from home. It had more than everything we needed for an easy and enjoyable stay. Our teenage daughter and preteen son shared the guest room, which was spacious enough to give them each their own area. The main bedroom was calming and comfortable, and the main bathroom was not only, huge but offered tons and tons of storage as well as many easy-to-forget items from home including a hair dryer and flat iron. Although we frequented many of the local restaurants, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We appreciated the high-end appliances and beautiful cabinets and countertops. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor space and watched many rainbows from the wraparound lanai. Trips to the beach were especially fun given the units' amenities which included boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, toys, etc. Big Island guidebooks were indispensable, and the unit had a plethora of them which were essential to planning our daily adventures including day trips to Hilo, Volcanoes National Park, the black sand beach, a tour of a Kona coffee farm, and a night swim with the manta rays. And because our adventures warranted loads and loads of dirty laundry, we were grateful that the unit also provided a nice washer, dryer, and a starter number of detergent pods. The gorgeous and well-maintained property was welcoming with its beautiful trees and flowers, and we grew familiar with all the birds that call it home. The pool gets a little crowded in the afternoons, but nonetheless, we spent a lot of time there, whether it was swimming laps or playing around with the kids. If working out is on your vacation agenda, the gym had everything we needed and is open 24 hours a day. We honestly cannot say enough about our stay, and we look forward to years of returning to this beautiful unit at Vista Waikoloa.

We had a wonderful visit. The condo was super clean and comfortable and we felt very taken care. We've been to the island many times, and so we knew our way around and felt great having a place to call home. The concierge was great even though we ended up not using it. We loved the beds, the couches, the lanais. The kitchen was well stocked, which was great because we cooked a lot. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

One week is merely not enough for this amazing property. It's a 2 bedroom 2nd floor condo in a gated complex in Waikoloa, walking distance to A-Bay. The kitchen and bathrooms are upgraded with granite tops and marble tiles, the lanai has 2 separate areas with a view of the mountains and garden area. It's walking distance to Queens marketplace, restaurants, and groceries. Check-in was very easy with keypad entry and dedicated space for 1 vehicle. There are visitor parking spaces. We made full use of the beach umbrellas, noodles, boogie boards and beach chairs. The property is on the west sunnny drier side of the island. Hilo is about an hour 15 min away. Volcano national park is roughly 2 to 2.5 hrs drive. KOA airport is a less than 30 min away. We chose this place because of sunnier weather and proximity to beaches and snorkeling areas. Property manager responds quickly and very helpful. Really the only negative is we had to leave 🥲
