We really loved this condo and would highly recommend it. The only issues were that the shower head in the downstairs bathroom does not work well and the toilet runs unless you make sure to pull the handle up.Those were minor and we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Waikoloa Colony Villas #1906. This was our second time staying in this complex, but the first time in this particular unit. I would have no problem recommending the complex to anyone looking to stay in Waikaloa, but there is a big difference between "We had an amazing stay" and "We had problems." The biggest plus is that the units and surrounding grounds are well maintained, attractive and they are very quiet. The floor plan of the units we have rented have had a townhouse type of arrangement, meaning that you have only your family above and below you. This is the optimal layout and removes the potential problems of heavy-footed renters above you. We had a family of four young children next door who had been living in the complex since 2020 and we did not hear a peep from them! That speaks volumes for the great layouts as well as those particular kids. The unit was attractively decorated and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequately outfitted with a few exceptions: There were only three glass wine glasses and multiple plastic wine glasses. Surely, in a two bedroom unit it is not too much to ask for four decent wine glasses. The wine pull provided had one arm broken off upon arrival and the second arm broke off halfway through our visit, forcing me to lean on the neighbors for a wine pull in order to serve wine for dinner guests. There was also no serrated bread knife in the kitchen. Not a bit deal if you don't cook, but a problem if you do. Pots and pans were adequate in number. I appreciated the storage containers and the ice chest that was provided. Both got used on a daily basis. I would have liked to have a few more areas to hang things up to dry. The guest bathroom had a couple of hooks in the shower but the primary bathroom did not. Between the beach and pool, a couple of swim suits/towels get used each day and it was tough finding places to hang them to dry. We had a problem with the dishwasher on a Sunday and were told that nothing could be done in terms of repairs on a Sunday. We googled the problem and were able to ultimately get it running. Providing a dish drainer for such an emergency would be wise. I have no problem with doing dishes by hand for a day or two but need somewhere to stash the dishes to dry. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a nice complex. Just needs a bit more attention to detail in terms of what parties of four will be needing in terms of dishes/glasses and more places to hang wet items.

The condo is as pictured - nice furnishings, lovely lanai, good separation of the two bedrooms. The ceiling fans were enough for us and we didn’t need the air conditioning. The pool area was very nice but we spent most of our time seeing the island and hanging out on beaches. We made dinner several nights and it was very relaxing and pleasant to be in the co do. I highly recommend this place.

This was our 4th time to the big island but our first to the Waikoloa resort area. This location was perfect for what we did on this 2 week trip. Everything in the kitchen was great with the exception of the toaster as it was only half working.

This home was perfect for our vacation with friends! It looks just like the pictures, is very clean and cozy, and has great amenities (including beach gear). The check in and out process was very straight forward. It’s centrally located to shops/restaurants/hotels and an easy ~25 min drive to Kona.

I was amazed when we checked in. This place was just as beautiful as the pictures showed. It seemed too good to be true. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it never did. there were plenty of amenities for the guests, beautiful rooms, Beautiful grounds, and a wonderful location. Also five stars for Kona Coast Vacations. They kept in touch with me, made sure everything was OK, and on our first full day, they called to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely use them again!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in the Condo. Nice open living space with one bedroom downstairs and one upstairs on separate ends for a lot of privacy. Kona Coast Vacations provided all the info we needed ahead of our stay so we knew what to expect and didn't have to ask a single question. Hope to return someday!

Overall this is an amazing property. Great location, clean, awesome layout. Kona coast vacations were wonderful to work with. My only issues were the fan in the downstairs room could only be on a 3 or it made a clicking sound. The place is so quiet that the sound felt so loud. And the bed in the downstairs room creaked every time you moved and it was very uncomfortable. Even a very inexpensive gel bed would have been better. Other than those 2 issues, i highly recommend this condo.

We had a wonderful stay at 1906 Waikoloa Colony Villas. The complex was beautiful and very well kept. The pool is just around the corner with a big area for play with kids without bothering all the adults. Inside the condo is very nice and perfect for a family with kids. Love the high ceilings in the living area, nice laminate floors, simple decor, quality furniture, and not too many fragile items or nicknacks to guard from the kids. The kitchen had all the basics we needed. The lanai is lovely and surrounded by palms. We loved staying here and would absolutely stay again. Thank you!!!

This property was very beautiful! The pool was amazing and the water temp was perfect. The condo it’s self was nice. We had to wash every dish before using it as they were all dirty. Very limited supplies so we did have to buy a lot. Pest control is fantastic and we only saw a few ants and one cockroach, which is really good for the area. It is right next to the pool, which was super convenient. I would highly recommend staying here

The location was ideal as it was situated near Kona, Waikoloa and Waimea with lots of options. It's a quiet neighborhood within a peaceful neighborhood.

We enjoyed our recent 10 day stay on the big island. Waikoloa was the perfect home base. Waikoloa Colony Villas is a beautiful resort. We enjoyed their two pools and hot tub; didn’t get around to playing tennis. Unit 1906 was well-appointed, and more than met our needs. We ate breakfast and dinner most days on the lanai. Appreciated the two story floor plan and that a bedroom was on both the first floor and second floor for privacy. Note of caution: the condo door is time locked until 4pm. We got to the condo around 1pm and were locked out for several hours. In hindsight, the info sheet we received from Kona Coast Vacations did indicate that the reservation starts at 4 pm and that the door would be locked until then, but we clearly missed reading that important point in advance. I suggest Kona Coast Vacations consider highlighting that part of their info letter in bold font and red text to draw attention to the restriction. If you plan to arrive before 4pm, contact their office prior to your arrival day to see if an early check-in is available. The only other thing to note is that condo 1906 did not come with any beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, etc. We always appreciate when condo owners/rental agencies provide these things for guests to use. We ended up buying Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrella at Costco and a cooler at Walmart. We left the cooler at the condo for future guests to use.

We spent a week in this condo. It was comfortable and spacious. Not that far from beaches and in a nice neighborhood. The pool wasn't open as of June 2022, but we knew when we rented it that it might still be getting renovated. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to the big island.

Overall, we had a good experience. Private and quiet neighborhood. Nicely situated near shops around Waikoloa Beach Resort. Check-in process was a breeze. Only two points that gave a less than stellar performance. First, there is no direct beach access nor is this location within walking distance to the beach. Walking to the beach would take approx. 19 minutes and would require you to navigate through another private community. Second, there is a sensor attached to AC. We called customer service (who was incredibly helpful) one night because the AC had not been on all day. We thought it was an automatic feature to conserve energy (like a Nest). As I understood it, a sensor is near each exit door. If the exit doors are not locked or open for a period of time (perhaps pulled up but not exactly closed to allow one to go back and forth to the car with groceries), the AC automatically turns off. Not a complete bust to the trip, just items that we weren't clear on from the beginning. In all, would I recommend the property to a friend? Absolutely. I'd just be clear on those items upfront.

This townhouse is perfectly designed for everyone in the two bedrooms to have lots of privacy… the home is situated to avoid the hot sun, the Lanai is a perfect place to el fresco, every night and you are super close to the pool, workout area and bbq's. The kitchen is well equipped to cook up anything you could possibly want! A perfect island getaway in all respects!

Perfectly clean, spacious and modern 2-floor/2-bed&bath vacation home. Surrounding golf and other activities looks amazing, but our group did not partake - the rental was THAT relaxing. Also, shout out to Kona Vacations, who communicated almost too much with us. No matter; better over-prepared than under, and every last detail seemed to be taken care of. Overall, 10/10 experience, and we wouldn't hesitate to book this beautiful home again!

The place was very nice, as pictured on the post. It could be a little cleaner, but overall my family liked it a lot and enjoyed our stay fully. There was free access to two pools, although there were a lot of rules to use them because this isn't a resort. People in the community were very friendly! The place is located near nice hotels, shops, and restaurants and there is access to several beautiful beaches within an average 37min walk or 14min drive. It is also next to the Ala Kahakai National Historic Trail (Kings Trail) and the hieroglyph field, which was cool to explore. There is a lot to see on this island, wish we had stayed longer, will try to come back!!

My wife and I visited the big island in February of 2022 and stayed in 1906 Waikaloa Colony Villas. The condo was pretty easy to find (even in the dark; the GPS took us to the back entrance) and was clean and cozy when we got in late in the night. We loved having an absolutely gorgeous and huge place to stay in. Parking was conveniently located right across from our front door. The amenities in the condo are very modern! We highly recommend staying here and can't wait to be back!

Beautiful condominium in Waikoloa. No contact check in was great and the unit was clean and nicely furnished. We loved eating meals on the lanai and really loved the proximity of the condominium to the pool. Only thing I would improve is that there is no overhead light source in the front room, so at night there is no way to sit in the living room and read. I recognize the ceilings are quite high but maybe a standup lamp next to the sofa?

Kona Coast Vacations was extremely communicative and provided a lot of great recommendations for our time on the Big Island. We loved the condo we rented - it had everything you could need in the kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of towels, comfortable beds and an overall cozy feel. You can tell that Kona Coast takes great pride in providing a positive experience for their guests and we will definitely use them again. Thank you for a memorable vacation!

The pictures of this property were accurate. The mountain views from this rental were splendid. This place has absolutely everything you need. It was truly a home away from home. It was quiet and in a very quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Kona. We enjoyed eating breakfast from the lanai in the mornings. The beach equipment came in handy. We were able to park in the attached garage without difficulty. There was no pest issue of any kind. We hate to leave really! If we should return to the Big Island, my family and I will definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for the bar soaps, plentiful of hand soaps, dish detergent, bleach, shampoo, paper towels, tissue paper, and small and large trash bags! A minor issue, nothing to make or break a stay here, was the floor was not clean and there was not a mop or swifter available for use. I have an infant who likes rolling on the floor. I had to be creative and use towels to clean the floors. What would be helpful for future guests is to supply a mop for cleaning purposes.

This modern two-story unit is clean, spacious, quiet, perfectly located near a gorgeous pool, and all-around fabulous. We enjoyed spending breezy evenings on the first-floor lanai, which is surrounded by plantings and feels totally private. Being close to the the gym was also a plus. The complex is among the nicest we've seen on the Kohala coast.

Waikoloa villas is a good choice for your stay on the big island. Owners were very communicative, I received many emails on local things to do and instructions on how easily access the property. The villa was nicely decorated and has everything you need for a nice vacation including items for the beach. The location is wonderful it's near all the resorts and restaurants. This stay is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic stay or a family looking for a large comfortable space for a fun vacation.

Excellent. The house was bright & sunny, beautifully decorated with very comfortable & functional seating. The beds were super comfortable, fans & AC kept things nice & cool. The pool is steps away from the patio of this unit & exceeded my expectations. It's beautiful with even a water feature to feel more spa / resort like. Cardio & weight Gym is also adjacent to this unit. The condo & property was very quiet. Very clean & fully equipped with everything you need for cooking in. Best place we have stayed to date!!

We loved this property. It is in a residential condo complex with great amenities such as fitness and weight rooms, pool, spa. It is a bit of a trek to the beach but the place is centrally located for activities. We like this are better than the Kona area by the airport. The shopping center nearby is great. We had a perfect visit. The only thing that caught us offguard was how windy it was most evenings when sitting on the downstairs Lanai.

Our family really enjoyed the villa. It was everything we hoped for. The area was beautiful and quiet. The villa was beautifully decorated, very clean with comfortable beds to sleep in. It was our home away from home. We look forward to the day we can go back.

This unit was recently updated, so beds & furniture were new. Close to pool and jacuzzi, which were well kept. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Very much enjoyed our visit.
