The bedroom offers a comfortable queen size bed and there is a queen size sofa pullout bed in the living room as well. The bathroom, that is off the bedroom, features a double sink and shower. There are ceiling fans throughout and the air conditioning creates an even more pleasant experience when needed. The lanai features a dining table with seating for 4 and a view of the ocean while enjoying your meals.
Having a washer and dryer in the unit is an added convenience. With a view from the covered lanai, you can many times spot whales and dolphins. The complex features two pools, one pool on the ocean's edge and one mid way through the property. One of the highlights is joining others at the sea wall each evening, watching the sunset from the palm tree lined beach area. At night the sound of the ocean waves is a nice way to lull you to sleep.
The beautiful grounds are meticulously manicured, and we’ve never seen so many varieties of hibiscus in one place. Casa de Emdeko offers a great barbecue/eating/gathering area around the large covered cabana (10 tables), where you can watch the surf while barbecuing. The lighting of tiki torches in the evening really adds to the ambience. Everyone staying there (owners and guests alike) are so friendly, you experience a true feeling of Aloha. For those who enjoy walking, our condo is on the ocean side of popular Alii Drive about 1 ½ miles south of Kailua-Kona – and you can take your morning walk to enjoy a cup of coffee in Kona town.
There are many activities on the Big Island and specifically on the ocean front Alii Drive. There is a handy Convenience/Sundries store adjacent to the complex where you can purchase your morning newspaper or an evening bottle of wine. The Keauhou Shopping Center is just 3 miles to the south complete with KTA Grocery Store, Cinemas, Longs Drug Store, Restaurants, Medical Offices and Friday night free hula shows. Within a few miles is some of the best snorkeling on the Island at Kahalu’u Bay, a white sands (Magic Sands) beach at La’aloa Park and the historic Living Stones Church, just a few blocks away. Maintenance Notice: The Association will be renovating tower walkways with work scheduled to begin on approximately June 2022. The construction period is expected to last for approximately 2½ months. The stacks ending in 27-31 are being directly affected, neighboring units should expect construction noise and dust. Please inquire with KCV for details.
