It is a good sized place. The bed was comfortable. Beautiful bathroom and sitting room. Balcony was nice with the ceiling fan. Though not a full ocean view, still a beautiful view from the balcony. Nice to have central air conditioning. There was good communication with the owner. The only issue is the silverware was a little rusty.

Ver comfortable unit and easy to get to. Driving distance from restaurants, shops and groceries. Unit is located in the corner of the second floor, so very convenient. Complex has two pools and you can enjoy sunset from the saltwater one. Highly recommended for your stay in Kona

This place is very clean and easily accessible from the main highway. About 5-6 minutes from the downtown restaurants. I suggest that sofa to be steam cleaned, one drawer to fixed on the right side of the kitchen sink, relocating the screen door lock so that the screen door can be locked. Otherwise, this unit #221 is very nice and have all the needed accessories. On top, Kona Coast Vacation rental agency is very informative and outmost caring.

'm very happy we rented this property for our 4 days in Kona. Great location—the property is conveniently located. You can't necessarily walk to the downtown areas—sidewalks are practically non-existent, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk. However, it's a quick drive and still well located. The apartment felt smaller than I anticipated. The apartment was clean, but a little dusty. The property may have been unoccupied for sometime. The balcony view was wonderful. Fast and easy check in and check out process. Would recommend this property and would stay again.

We had everything we needed to be very comfortable during our stay on the big island. When we arrived, the unit was very clean, and all the instructions we were given were clear. The property itself was very beautiful and it made you feel like you were truly Oceanside by the way the saltwater pool was set up. In the evenings, we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets visible from the property. Inside the condo we had all the essentials to be very comfortable. The unit itself is nicely located at the end of the building and very near to the laundry and the parking. As someone who likes to cook, I was very pleased to see that the pots and pans and knives were high-quality. There are a couple of kitchen essentials that are missing though , I would like to see a vegetable peeler and a wire whisk because those are things that most everyone uses all the time. I very much appreciated the plentiful dishes, both in breakable and unbreakable! This was handy when you wanted to eat outside. The lanai was very well equipped with comfortable chairs and a high top that would seat four people. Overall, I would give this unit a very high rating, and I feel that it was a good value for the money.

Found the unit perfect for our needs, unit was clean and comfortable. Loved the shower. Room stayed nice and cool making for comfortable sleep. Only negative i have is, parking inside the gates, was difficult. Unless you came back to the unit early, you would not find parking inside the gates. I didn't understand that? I would imagine there is one parking spot per unit. I would recommend this unit.

Upon arrival after dark, the lights were on, the door code worked, and the condo was immaculate. The complex laundry mat is close by. I used two washers, but only needed one dryer. Enjoyed the double entry to the bathroom, and this condo would be perfect for more than two people. Had everything I needed for cooking. Lovely views from the Lanai.

Stayed here for 6 days on our trip! Very clean, bed is very comfortable. Location is just outside of town, but within decent walking distance. We had a car so drove most places. Never had difficulty finding a spot by the pool. Kitchen had everything and more that one could want!

We stayed at Casa de Emdeko which was managed by them. The location was a little further from town which we liked because of less noise/people. But it was just a short drive away. The concierge service was super nice and the property was beautiful. Couldn't ask for a better spot!

Incredible stay at the big island. Everything was well taken care of and we had an amazing time. I highly recommend them. They communicated everything very well. We're extremely in love with this place. We could not have asked for more during our stay at the big island. This place has its own little beach (no ocean access) a pool and a salt water pool. We used grills and the amenities during our stay. It is a fully equipped unit and very quiet and peaceful. We will be staying here next time!

We had a great stay and this was certainly a much better experience than staying at an expensive and musty hotel room. The Kona Coast hosting and cleaning crew are professional and ensured our stay was perfect in all aspects. We were able to notice their top notch hospitality at first glance - the bed pillows were arranged nicely, the towels displayed carefully and even the kitchen paper towel roll was artistically folded. The apartment is also very well stocked with everything we needed, from beach towels to even Tupperwares! Thank for for letting us stay at your beautiful place!

Casa de Emdeko is a very well maintained and beautiful condo complex. Our unit had been renovated and was very comfortable and quiet. Looks just as in the pictures. The garden courtyard with fountain was lovely to listen to as we had our morning coffee on the lanai. Then condo was very comfortable and had everything you would need. The sandy area by the ocean and saltwater pool was great for sitting at any time to watch the boats go by and we saw whales and dolphins!! Definitely recommend trying it! We are already planning our next time back!

The place is renovated and close to beaches and shops. It is clean with all the amenities. We used the salt water pool and watched sunsets from there. Our kids enjoyed this place. The AC is also in good condition. Overall, I recommend this place.

It's a clean place to stay! It's about a 5-10 minute drive from town which is nice and also close to several surf spots. It is walking distance from the coast as well but you cannot swim there because it's a rocky shoreline. Other than that we loved the place and it was cozy and comfy and they were extremely timely in responding and giving us information about the island!!!

Casa de Emdeko is THE place to stay on the island. The complex is fabulous. This unit was adequately supplied. Any problems with cleanliness or need for new cooking implements were immediately remedied by Kona Coast.

Enjoyed staying at this listing. It was very spacious and perfectly located in Kailua-Kona. Communication with Kona Coast Vacations was seamless and all the instructions were included in one easy to read email. Would stay with Kona Coast Vacations again when visiting the Big Island. Stayed in Casa de Emdeko 221 for a week. Loved the complex with its two pools, bbq area, beach area, beautiful grounds & location to Kailua-Kona. Staff at Casa where very helpful & pleasant. The unit itself was very adequate, but dated. Kitchen okay, though toaster needs to be replaced, dishwasher in need of repair & cabinets could be spruced up. Bathroom was good, but toilet slowly drained on its own & would have to refill during the day & night. Also would have been nice to be able to use more than 1 bath towel, face towel & face cloth per person during the whole stay. Overall, I would recommend this property to others & would stay at the complex again. stayed 2/28/2017 - 3/7/2017

Our vacation rental was nice and clean. The unit could do with an upgrade for sure, I found the kitchen really tight, the dishwasher and oven hit cupboard doors. We were looking for last minute accommodation during the Christmas-New Year period and this was the only option available. We were pleasantly surprised. The apartment is quite spacious, with a lovely balcony. The location is pretty good as well, just outside the main drag of Kailua-Kona.

This was my 4th stay in Kona and second at Casa de Emdeko. It' truly the best location - far enough out of the congestion, but still close enough to the action. Unit 221 is located near parking and the front of the building, so it's convenient for bringing up luggage and groceries. With the foliage, there's really no view of the ocean, but a quick walk at sunset takes care of that. If I were staying longer, I might want a unit closer to the ocean, but this was just great for us. The unit is fully stocked with everything needed for a week's stay and is generally well appointed (if that matters to you.) Thank God for the oscillating fan because it could get stuffy in the bedroom. The concierge service and rental car discount were unexpected but enjoyable perks of using this rental company.

Excellent time! Clean condo! Bed was a little uncomfortable, and was worried that the dishwasher would come out as it is not secured very well. Also, a little ant problem but was taken care of fairly quickly. But, if those are my problems on this wonderful island then I think I am pretty lucky :) Loved the communal BBQ and watching the sunset on the man-made beach listening to the waves crashing. Everyone staying there was very friendly! If you love the sun like we do, this is a great location as the lanai gets covered with sun by about 8:00am.
