Mauna Lani is a beautiful resort. The golf villas are set back into the resort. It's about a 5 minute drive to the beach club. The villa is a very short walk to the pool. It looks out over the golf course.The Villa itself is well stocked and spacious. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out. The villa is clean and well kept. We would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful end unit condo at Mauna Lani Golf Villas. Spacious place with good cross breeze. Management company was very responsive when we had little things that needed attention. Our only complaint was that there were no boogie boards or snorkeling equipment, and the beach chairs were very old, very heavy and cumbersome. Other than that, everything was great and I would stay there again!

Spacious property with great light and cross breeze. Lovely plantings and view of the mountain. Management company was very responsive when we needed little things, and they took care of them right away. We wish there had been more beach equipment; that was our only complaint.

We had excellent communication with the property manager. The location of the property was good, and the complex was quiet. With 2 small children we had to use a vehicle to get to the beach, but there was a nice pool area in the complex. We did find a few minor but noticeable issues with the property. We were six people with only 5 dining chairs inside. There were no tea towels. The main floor bedroom closet doors were not on track and we couldn't find a simple fix. The device to open the bedroom blinds was broken as well. One of the drawers contained men's clothes. It would have been nice to have a lounger or two on the lanai.

Family and I had a wonderful time! Place was everything as promoted! Enjoyed many meals on the patio. Amazed with the huge variety of kitchen utensils, and cooking items. Highly recommend for a relaxing visit!! Small suggestion- larger TV in master, streaming channels on one other TV and a potato masher :)

Great place to stay. It was as pictured online, clean, and conveniently located. We really appreciated the extra supplies and amenities. We had stopped on the way from the airport to purchase more tissue, laundry detergent, etc. and found we could have skipped that as there was plenty for our week-long stay. We appreciated the blender and well-stocked kitchen as well. Great place and communication with property managers.

We loved our stay at Golf villas at Mauna Lani! Amazing 3 bed 3 full bath semi attached townhouse which is located in a very quiet serene neighborhood set on a golf course. It's very secure( gated) and very quiet ( Big Island is quiet in general) . The kitchen is super large and has everything you could want or need for making meals. Loved the outdoor BBQ and seating area. Living space is large with a huge sectional. There's also another TV and sofa above in the mezzanine hall area upstairs. Really liked the small touches such as: Sand toys for kids Beach chairs Boogie boards Board games in living room This townhouse is an END UNIT…..tonnes of light. It's also a very close drive to Fairmont Orchid beach( 3-4 mins) which is amazing for young children as it's a lagoon. One thing to note: Hawaii is crazy expensive for food/groceries. Do not do all your shopping nearby as a loaf of sliced bread ranges from $6-11! We shopped at both Costco and Safeway in Kona beforehand. I would definitely stay here again.

We concluded our stay in the Golf Villas at Mauna Lani L5 last Thursday. We enjoyed our stay in the spacious unit. It had all of the essentials in the kitchen to do all of our cooking. And the unit was furnished nicely in island-feeling furniture. We appreciated the selection of games, books, and beach toys available for our use. And having the concierge services available from David was a huge plus-very helpful. He answered many of our questions and gave some great recommendations.

This property has a 2-twin bed bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and a king and HUGE master bath upstairs with a sitting area and TV (the couches might fold out), then a queen downstairs with a bathroom just outside the door. This was a perfect set-up for my daughter and her husband (king), my 2 grandsons (2 twins) and me (queen) in coming to HI to scatter my husband's ashes. The "hiccup" involved the fact that a number of the venetian blinds (and, most particularly, the one in the queen room!) did not have "strings" to lower the blinds! And, no, we're not dumb - we know how to close venetian blinds :-) So I had to put a blanket on the bottom 1/2 of the window, because my room (on the ground floor) was right by the main walkway, there was a light outside at night, etc. We tried to contact the property manager, but did not hear a response. Also, weirdly, the day after we left, apparently the cleaning crew "met" someone leaving the house. I was texted by the property management company, but it wasn't us (we had left the island the morning before). I'm not quite sure how that happened. Very easy to follow the directions that the property management company sends, also super easy to have a door "combo" versus a key. FWIW, though they say "don't use your GPS", the Waze app found the property with zero problem. Though the property has a couple of the Big Island Revealed books (the "blue book"), there is now an app that isn't enormously expensive (by the same people) that is up to the moment with information. Especially helpful after COVID were some of the locations/restaurants/etc. are closed. Also, the closest beach is great for snorkeling! Go out the gated community gate from the house, then turn LEFT on the main road (right would take you back to the roundabout and out), then LEFT again on the very next road. It's gated too, but just say you're going to the beach. Drive all the way down. Lots of sea life there! A nice touch was that the house had reef-friendly spray SPF spray. Suggest you bring your own shampoo/conditioner as the shampoo they provide isn't particularly plentiful (no worries, just a thought).

Beautiful property with a shady lanai/patio. Excellent location to get to Mauna Launi Beach and Black Sand Beach 49. Comfortable living room. Well stocked and spacious kitchen. There were some boogie boards in the garage. Beds/mattresses were on the softer side which was not great for the stomach and back sleepers in the group; otherwise no complaints. Would give 4.5 stars if possible.

We had a great experience in Golf Villas L-5! The unit is large, open, and bright - just like the pics. Plenty of room for 6 of us. The unit came well equipped with plenty of utensils, etc for a much bigger group, which is great, and the outdoor BBQ and table are very nice. The Golf Villas are a decent walk from the Beach Club, so we wound up driving most times, but the pool in the GV complex is right next door, so the kids used it quite a bit during our stay. Check in and concierge service through Kona Concierge was excellent. We'd love to go back!

The only minor issue is not really being able to walk to the beach from the unit. Very easy to get there by car though so it's a very minor thing. Overall great experience. Would book again.

We have just returned from our stay at the Golf Villas this February. Our unit was L5 It was a 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo with plenty of space for our family. It was unanimous amongst my family members that this accommodation was by far the best equipped home we have ever rented on vacation The kitchen was equipped with enough appliances from blenders to rice cookers to crock pots, that we felt as tho all our needs we happily met The owners had supplied the bare essentials such as seasonings, oils, shampoo and laundry detergent etc... even coffee filters which I have seen overlooked in other properties before Bedrooms were clean and comfortable with extra linens and pillows, blankets and beach towels The cleanliness of our unit was pleasantly impressive but be aware of the tiny tiny ants that happily occupy anything left out on the counter. At all times we felt safe and comfortable allowing our family to enjoy the amenities offered at the complex. The pool and spa was a perfect way to finish our day reminiscing and soaking under the stars There were 4 adults and 2 teens on our stay and it was agreed that we would happily return here, preferably longer than 10 days next time. So... thanks again for another memorable visit to the island. Enough good words just can’t be spoken about our stay

We’ve just returned from our amazing holiday at the Golf Villas unit L5. We found the support and service from Kona Coast vacations was excellent. There were some issues with the shower and toilet in the en-suite that were resolved immediately and the service provider was friendly, professional and solved the issue. This is our 5th time staying at the Golf Villas and we wanted to left you know the kitchen was very well stocked in particular, the glassware and dishes was nicer than most. The appliances all worked well except a temperamental ice maker which wasn’t a big deal as we just bought bagged ice. The outdoor lanai and patio were quiet, scenic and lovely and we really enjoyed relaxing on the comfortable furniture. This is a big benefit for me as I won’t even consider a unit that has unwelcoming outside furniture. The pillows were comfortable in the bedrooms and there were lots of nice quality towels including extra beach towels. If I were to give a recommendation, it would be regarding the beds. A couple people in our party (my daughter and husband) found the beds a little uncomfortable and had sore backs. It would be ideal to use linen on the beds that’s a bit more breathable (100% cotton) vs blends for a more comfortable sleep but it’s a small thing. We’d be pleased to stay in the unit again and thank the owners for the beautiful decor and stay
