Introduction: We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kona Resort [ HEAVENS ] in Hawaii, and it was truly a fantastic experience. From the spacious accommodations to the stunning location, our stay was nothing short of wonderful. Accommodation: The house provided for our stay was not only big and spacious but also beautifully designed. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings added a touch of luxury to our vacation. The rooms were comfortable. Location: The resort's location is simply breathtaking. Nestled in a prime spot, we enjoyed stunning views of the surroundings. Whether it was sipping morning coffee on the balcony or watching the sunset, the location added an extra layer of magic to our stay. Swimming Pool: The swimming pool was a highlight of our time at the resort. Clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by lush greenery, it provided the perfect place to unwind and cool off after a day of exploring. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the pool area, making it a central part of our stay. Concierge Service: The concierge at Kona Resort deserves special mention. 5 adults and 2 infants - this location was incredible - the view alone was worth every penny. The pool, the hot tub, everything was a dream. The washing machine wasn’t working, so I called the kona coast vacations and they sent someone to look at it. Still didn’t work so when I called again they ordered in a whole new washer and it came next day. Awesome customer service. The property was so close to the airport and Costco and lots of other shops. 3 very separate bedrooms all nicely kept (4th small bedroom) I went with a rental company for baby equipment, but they had so much at the house . They say they can’t guarantee baby equipment and beach stuff but it had multiple play pens, lots of beach toys, a small tabletop high chair . Would stay here again- awesome experience

Our stay was wonderful. The house was perfect. The layout of the house couldn't have been better. Having the pool in the middle surrounded by the lanai, perfect. The two bedrooms on either end looking out, perfect. All the glass sliding doors and screens going out to the pool, perfect. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Check in and check out was easy and smooth. Communication was prompt and simple.

Been to Heavens Three Times

We have been to Heavens three times so far. We love the location of the property: close to the airport, the town and a short drive to our favorite beaches. The temperature at that altitude is always lovely. The house has all the amenities to please us and the many family members and friends that visit us there: a huge kitchen, private rooms, a wonderful pool and hot tub and spectacular sunsets. When we visit heavens we know our stay will be exemplary and we know that we can count on Kona Coast Vacations management team to handle any issues that might arise in a very timely fashion. We will always reccomend Heavens to anyone looking for an Hawaiian getaway for a large party.

we would absolutely stay again

Our family of 10 stayed at this beautiful home for 17 days. The staff were awesome and dealt with little issues immediately. The home is large, plenty of room for 10 to hang together or spend time apart. The kitchen had all the gadgets, cookware, and dishware we could use. The pool and grounds were large and well maintained with many places to sit and catch rays or gather to eat. There were many pool toys and some beach equipment as well to enjoy our many trips to the beach (although we bought some too). Our only complaint was that there were NO Dressers in 4 of the 5 bedrooms, so 8 of our family used little shelves in the closets, couches, or their suitcases to house their clothes during the stay. This may be fine for a few days, but was difficult for our 17 day stay. Except for one small bedroom all the other bedrooms are large with plenty of room for a dresser. That said, we would absolutely stay again at The Heavens in Kona.

Wonderful Stay!!!!!!

Perfect size for a family of 9. The swimming pool was awesome for our 3-year old granddaughter. The hot tub was great after doing some long grueling hikes on the island. Everyone enjoy the beautiful landscape and gorgeous sunset views. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, kitchen was clean, and the refrigerator was top of the line for keeping things cold in the humid/hot days. Our granddaughter loved the geckos. Everyone in our party agreed they would rent the house again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!!!!

Like our own little jungle

3 bedroom/3 bathroom, outside pool, guesthouse with a room and it's own bathrooms. Beautiful view from up top to see the rest of the town, it's not as close to the ocean but you can see the ocean view. Coming up the driveway is a little steep and curvy, we brought our mom who will be 80, so with help she was able to make it up(good exercise if your up to walking up and down). There is parking space if you rent a car, turn around by the tree when you've almost reached the top. We are originally from a small village from Alaska so we were taken by the view and nature that surrounds us, the view from the kitchen or table next to the kitchen, kinda like our own little jungle cause where we live it's flat with no trees or mountains. I tried to get everything, hope this helps. Thank you Kona heavens

Fantastic Home

The Heavens is truly a fantastic home for a family vacation. The 10 of us spent an outstanding 2 weeks with plenty of room to spread out to accommodate our separate interests and a generous kitchen to prepare joint meals for sunset dining every night poolside. Great place! No surprises. Just as advertised. Excellent!

house did not disappoint

The only issue we had was getting from the airport to the property. There were no taxes available and we waited for almost an hour to get a ride. The directions were useful…even the taxi driver didn't know where it was. But when we arrived…the place had lights left on for us and fans running. We were exhausted flying from Ontario Canada. The house did not disappoint. The two rooms at the back of the house was very quiet and private. The kitchen was well supplied. The pool hadn't been cleaned, so one phone call and it was looked after. The pool was on the cold side. Much colder then the last place we stayed. But we still swam. The view was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this property.

Homely, Clean and Spacious

We came home for a family wedding and decided on the 'Heavens' property. It was very homely, clean and spacious for our family. What a spectacular location the sunsets were wonderful and picturesque that we captured many a picture with the family. The convenience of an onsite pool was refreshing in the heat of the evening and enjoyed a nice comfortable relaxing hot tub. The openness of the rooms to the pool deck was inviting and friendly. We loved our 2wks stay in paradise. Home is always where our hearts will be.

Great Space

My family & my parents enjoyed ourselves in the Heavens property. It's a great space with lots to see on the grounds. Fruit trees, birds, chickens that roam around and amazing views. The space of the house is awesome for a family of all boys to spread out or congregate together in the kitchen/dining area and outside by the pool. We added to the pool toy collection as well as a pack and play for infants for the house. We hope to visit again soon.

This property easily handled our part of 9 ... and everyone was happy and enjoyed our stay. We had two small issues and the management company attended to those in very short order. The property is excellently situated to engage in any off site activities. Easy to get anywhere. The house is getting tired but will certainly not affect your stay. The grounds need a lot of attention and was a distraction. Overall, it could easily be a 5/5 except for the condition of the grounds.

This is a lovely property, with a gorgeous big pool, actually hot hot tub, everything you could ever want for dishes, pots, etc. Lots of towels and linens. The most amazing sunsets every night. The yard is full of flowers and fruit trees. And geckos and chickens, but we enjoyed those as well!

Management company was so great and responsive. The house had been locked up for some time and the moldy smell was very strong but after a 2-3 days it aired out and it took care of itself. We had a great time and the home was large and spacious. A fresh coat of paint and a few updates would make this a perfect stay. Views are spectacular and the sunsets are out of this world.

Hawaiian Golden Property

This property is a Hawaiian golden property. She must have been a true luxury retreat in her day and is still a stunning property with views of the ocean and a neighborhood that boasts mature landscapes. The pool and spa are magnificent and the house is very roomy. A good coat of paint and a light updating would be a welcome upgrade but the old Hawaii charm is not lost with this home. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and family !

Beautiful & Spacious, as advertised

This house was great for our 2 families, plenty of room and, as pretty frequent VRBO users, we appreciated that the kitchen was well appointed and there were beach umbrellas and chairs we could use. I gave the location 5-stars because it's exactly as advertised...so, not right on a beach or walking distance to restaurants or shops. But if you have a car, that stuff is not far, and you can head a few minutes north for sandy beaches, or a few minutes south for great snorkeling, or just 5 minutes to the bottom of the hill for green turtles in the cove or the amazing manta ray experience at the marina. We appreciated all the options the location put within 20-30 minutes of us and, after a day with lots of sunbathers, or reef fish, we had a quiet, luxurious home to come back to for family game night and horsing around in the pool. Find the local fish market and grill up something fresh and local and watch the sunset. I know I sound like a paid shill, but the good karma at this house just makes me want to pay it forward.

Kona Coast Vacations went above and beyond for us. Not only did we get a great price on a gorgeous place, but we also had a concierge who was available to help us plan our vacation, select great places to eat and see, and was available to answer a multitude of questions. Any issues that came up (a coffee pot stopped working) were dealt with promptly and they were always available if needed. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. I will definitely book through them again.

This house was the perfect size for our family of 9. The outside was beautiful and that's where we spent that majority of our time. The only down fall was that being up on the hill it started raining just about every day around noon until dinner time. Luckily there was a patio set under the porch where we could still sit outside when it was raining.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!

This is an amazing place! We were two families traveling together, and there was SO MUCH SPACE for all of us. It was wonderful to hang out on the lanai and play games while watching the sunset, or swim in the pool after a day of hiking. The location is perfect - just a few minutes from the market, restaurants, the airport, etc. The view is incredible. We were a little worried that the elevation on the hill would be in a micro-climate that made it too cool to enjoy being in the pool, etc. but that was not the case at all - perfect temperature!! WE LOVE THIS PLACE!

We had 5 kids and 6 adults. The property allowed privacy for each family and a separate place for kids. It had everything we have at home in the kitchen. The pool toys for the kids were great

Heavens- Kailua Kona

Overall, a very nice property for our large family. The home is nicely zoned for everyone to have space without feeling like we were on top of one another. The pool was refreshing and it was great to have floats and goggles available. There were some maintenance issues that we had to have addressed but they were handled relatively quickly and did not detract from our experience. The home is very convenient to shopping, beaches, etc. the neighborhood is quiet and the view from the lanai was great! I would recommend this property for others looking for a rental.

So much space, although we spent very little time inside due to the beautiful weather outside. The hot tub was greatly appreciated. We received prompt service when something wasn’t working. We loved the friendly little cat that liked to hang around. The views were amazing, especially at sunset. We had an awesome time at Heavens.

We stayed at the "Heavens" recently. Great accommodations. sleeps up to 10. Easy access from airport, harbor, and Costco. Walmart, Safeway, and shopping within 15 minute drive. open floor plan, There were two families, and plenty of room, with pool, hot tub, and great view.

We enjoyed our stay at Kona Heavens House. It was very spacious for the eight of us. The kids enjoyed having a “separate house” to hang out in. It was a centralized location and a short drive to Old Kailua Village and close proximity to Costco and Walmart. The views and sunsets are breath taking. The home does not have air conditioning but there are plenty of ceiling fans and floor fans. The home stayed a comfortable temperature with the windows/sliders open. The outdoor kitchen area is a nice amenity. Our kids enjoyed the pool but it is a bit chilly. It stayed at 67 degrees our entire stay despite the warm outdoor temps. I’m not sure the solar heater was working. The adults stuck to hanging out in the hot tub. The home does come with a resident outdoor cat and rooster. The cat is very friendly and chill. It was fun to read the guest book at all the names the cat has been given. I would recommend this home. It was truly a little slice of Heaven

Very good house, facing the sea, you can swim in the pool while enjoying the sunset. The room is very clean, tidy and very comfortable, all the daily facilities are available, and we have a very pleasant 5 days here. Holidays, everyone thinks this is a perfect holiday destination, and look forward to coming here again to enjoy the holiday.

Our family stayed 10 days at Heavens and it was the most relaxing, perfect, unbelievable vacation we have taken in a while. We have been to the Oregon Coast, New York, Vegas and Alaska over the last 3 years and will rate this #1. The pool and hot tub was the focal point for us because we all love the water and the sun. Although the bar rates pretty high too. The bedrooms were perfect for 10 of us. We have 2 older kids who brought their fiances and the 2 separate rooms out back was perfect for them. My wife and I of course stayed in the bigger master next to the pool and enjoyed post card sunsets every night. Although the ocean was 3 miles away it seemed like it was right there. We brought binoculars to look out at the cruise ships and other ocean views. The convenient location was minutes from the beach and downtown. We enjoyed thanksgiving around the large dining table and played games in the living room. We had friendly Geckos visit us everyday while sitting out by the pool, FYI they love maraschino cherries. I recommend this house to anyone and would be confidant they would do the same. We plan to return as soon as we can. Aloha from the Secls

Perfect in every way!!!

Heavens was perfect in every way!!! Wish we could have stayed longer! We rented the home to share with our friends and family for our wedding during the week. It pretty much had everything we needed for our stay, including some beach chairs & towels, a few snorkel gear items and even different sizes of water shoes! Didn't realize until the last day that there was actually avocado trees on the property! Could've had REAL LOCAL avos as opposed to the ones we bought at the grocery store. The ONLY thing we noticed that was wrong with the place was apparently the renters before us had a bit of a spaghetti mishap in the kitchen (there was sauce on the ceiling that was missed by the cleaners). The house was absolutely beautiful and we will more than likely be back! The only thing that would keep us from renting Heavens again would be the need for more sleeping arrangements, as I'm sure next time around we will have more guests to share with!!!! Home is amazing, enough space to feel together and still have privacy. its close to town, the airport, costco, and still have quick access to go to Hilo side as well. as a tip, don't buy too much food, we didn't get to go out as much because we were busy cooking what we bought :)

Magical...Just Perfect

Our group of 8 rented this property for 5 nights and while we had high expectations, this house far exceeded them. The house is gorgeous, more than well stocked, spacious, clean, beautifully furnished and warm and inviting. Be sure to leave lots of time in your schedule to just sit and gaze upon the mountain view of the coastline and ocean while sitting next to the large pool and hot tub. The two bedrooms in the ohana are very large and nicely done. The location--between the airport and Kailua-Kona--was perfect for all of our exploring. While we were all looking forward to our next stop, Maui, none of us wanted to leave this house. Our group couldn't recommend this house enough. We all hope to return again. Also, David of Kona Vacations was so helpful and responsive re: planning our trip. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us.

We rented Heavens to have a family reunion with our children and grandchildren. The kids loved the large pool, and location is great in a quiet neighborhood on the hillside overlooking the Pacific, and with a short ride to beaches and other activities.

This was the perfect house for our mini family reunion of 9 adults. The house is jaw-droppingly beautiful and in a very quiet location. 5 full bedrooms and 5 baths. No air conditioning, but fans in every room. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked. The pool was a tad cool, but felt really good when the sun was out. We did have a small problem with the bbq but called for help and someone showed up that same afternoon. Was very happy with the concierge service they offered. Dave was very helpful.

This house was amazing, it fit all of us comfortably. Great view, private enough for us to have music playing while we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, great walking/running paths around, the BBQ was used most every night for dinners. The trash came on Wednesday morning and the pool cleaner came as well and that was the only interaction we had while at the house. The drive to beaches and downtown wasnt far, the location was great and the temperatures were perfect day and night. We enjoyed the Fairwind snorkeling cruise, Kua Bay Beach, Makalawena Beach and ROYS for a dinner night out with everyone. We cannot wait to start planning our way back to this house next year

5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms. I won't bore you with the details, the pics and the 360 tour explains it all. This house is HUGE. We had 7 adults and everyone had their own personal space. The kitchen was spacious with every appliance you need. The electric stove was the best stove I've ever used in a vacation rental. Huge Dining Room and Living Room, and a separate huge Television room. Very large outdoor pool with a very great 4 person whirlpool . Great outdoor shaded area with 4 large tables. Gas grill that was used for cooking. This home was well furnished and tastefully decorated. So much home for the $$$, and I highly recommend this beautiful home.
