The sunsets from the lanai are absolutely gorgeous. Kitchen and everything we needed and the entire home was very clean. It is in a quieter stretch of Kona, which we loved, but still convenient to restaurants and stores in the area. Bonus that they had snorkel gear for us to use. We would definitely choose this unit again if we return to the Big Island. Communication with the property management was excellent. Great experience all around!

Very good location, slightly away from the hubbub of the downtown area. Clean, comfortable property has it all. On the ocean, pool, relaxing area to sit, grill, and enjoy the calm. Definitely would consider a repeat stay here.

Unit is nicely equipped with all you need in the kitchen (except we had to buy a kettle), beach supplies and essentials. My only area of concern was the deck chairs, the cushions are worn out and uncomfortable. The complex pool and BBQ’s are excellent as are the lounge chairs and picnic tables by the water. We will be back. Aloha! We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. The next time you visit, please be sure to give us a call for any concerns or missing items. We would have been happy to bring you a kettle. Thank you also for letting us know about the deck chair cushions. We will definitely take a look at them to see about getting them refurbished or replaced.

This place had everything we were looking for. The location is great, the place well stocked and you can’t beat the sound of crashing waves and the unobstructed oceanfront view. The complex is quiet, but still very family/kid friendly. The beach chairs and umbrella were great, but wish there had been a small cooler to use. Yes, the place could use a few fixes- a cupboard needed a new hinge, more outlets near the bed to plug in devices, a cheese grater in the kitchen- but these were small issues and easy to work around. I will never understand why people pay the high prices of a resort with all the added fees and crowds when you can have your own slice of heaven like this one.

We truly enjoyed this condo. The oceanfront location was ideal to experience all that the Big Island has to offer. A hundred feet in front waves crash with an amazing ferocity, To the left is a public saltwater pool that was a blast when the surf was high. Next to that you will find surfers and wonder how they are able to perform their quick turns. The freshwater pool is very clean (heated via solar panels) and was clearly a favorite of many of the guests and residents. We took advantage of the "sandy" beach area every day. The trees and umbrellas provided excellent shade and it was a comfortable place for reading or just watching the surf, admiring how the wave and splash you just saw could have been larger than the last. (But you never do get wet) The BBQ's were in excellent shape. Air Conditioning was very welcome and although it is only in the living room, it did help cool the bedroom at the other end. The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils you will need. We certainly will consider this condo again on our next visit.

The apartment is beautifully bright and friendly furnished. One had the impression that everything was very clean and tidy. Adorned with many country-specific decorative parts. There was an initial supply of toilet paper, kitchen roll, garbage bags, dishwasher tabs and detergent. Thank you for that. The beautiful sea view is priceless. The living room is equipped with air conditioning. There is only one fan in the bedroom. Since the sun was in the bedroom in the evening, it was relatively warm for sleeping. The house rules are in the guest manual in the room. Among other things, there is also something about waste separation. After we separated nicely in the apartment, we were surprised that at the waste disposal site, everything ended up in one and the same container. Otherwise it was wonderfully quiet and relaxing for us there. We would rent this apartment again.(Translated)

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay in unit E21. We did need to call and arrange for broken glass under the sofa to be cleaned up. However, this was done right away! We also noted some repairs were not completed in the bathroom . These were not major issues, but should have been addressed.
We love the location and the great view from the balcony. Many times we sat and watched the spinner dolphins and the whales. The amazing sunsets are also great to watch from the shore right at the property.
We have booked again for next year👍.

We loved Kona Isle Condo E21. The view watching daily dolphins, humpback whales, and body boarders was awesome. We also loved the grassy and beach areas in front of the ocean with plenty of lounge chairs- not something found at other locations. I gotta admit we only went to the lounge chairs twice all week because we had the same view and breeze without ever leaving our own balcony. We enjoyed using the brand new ocean side BBQ's. It was great that we were on the main road to downtown but couldn't hear any traffic noise. An added bonus was there are drop off and pick up points for the free Kona Trolley just a few steps away. Another couple great little bonuses included the ocean front salt water pool beside the condo and the Alii Drive Marketplace a two minute walk away. The property caretaker was great and even helped us with luggage storage since we had a late flight out on our last day.

Just imagine: morning Kona coffee with ocean breeze, magnificent Hawaii sunset at your own lanai, pacific waves crashing into rocks when you asleep… these are our daily experiences when staying at Kona isle E21. It's magical. This condo was the perfect base for my son and I's week long stay at Kona. Very convenient location, quiet and clean. Kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need for a breakfast or light dinner. AC in livingroom only but strong enough to keep bedroom comfortable for sleeping. We actually loved turning it off at sleeping so we hear the ocean! If you have a smaller group, no more than 4, this is your dream place to stay in Kona. Thank you, we will be back!

Property was in a perfect location! View was amazing! We sat on the balcony every chance we had! Only downfall is the air conditioner does not reach well to the bedroom but we were provided with a fan that helped circulate the air. But we were provided with a lot of amenities most places do not provide. The cooler was an exceptional help when we were out running and visiting the island. I was very pleased with all the extras provided!

Our condo at the Kona Isle Condominiums was the perfect place for my wife and I on our honeymoon. Our unit was clean, well kept and air conditioned. The lanai overlooking the pool, beach and ocean was like looking at a postcard. Sunrises and Sunsets out there were magical. We loved every minute. Our only negative (if you can call it that) was the lack of AC in the bedroom. We slept on the pullout couch in the living room, which was super comfy, just because the bed room was too hot at night.

I was really impressed by the Kona Coast Vacation staff - they dropped off bbq utensils on the 4th of July, fixed a loose rail on the lanai within an hour and were generally extremely responsive. The condo is exactly as advertised - beautiful view and well appointed with a hula lamp anyone with taste has considered hoisting! My only gripe is that the AC is in the living room - it was too hot for me to sleep in the bedroom so I slept on the pullout while my wife and daughter held it down in the bedroom. Obviously not a dealbreaker but one more AC unit would make this rental perfect. Mahalo!

We spent two weeks in this unit, and its in a very nice location, but doesn't have a sand beach for swimming. The unit is reasonably well equipped with necessities for a stay of a week or more, but be forewarned that the air-conditioner is in a wall in the living room and doesn't do much for the temperature of the bedroom or bathroom. The owners have left a couple of fans in the bedroom closet which can help the situation if you leave them running 24/7. The sounds of the surf are nice, and there are lots of restaurants within minutes. Breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the ocean, or enjoying a beverage while watching the sunset make this unit a place to remember.

We spent many hours just gazing out over the ocean, listening to the waves crashing against the rock sea wall, and looking out for humpback whale sightings. So relaxing! This was the perfect spot for cruising around the Big Island and we enjoyed the fact that it was located a little ways down from town so not as much traffic or people. Very peaceful. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a wonderful visit and what an exceptional condo. It was exactly as described and more. The location couldn't have gotten us closer to the water with spectacular views and incredible sunsets. The condo was tastefully decorated and well stocked with everything we needed, Including the use of beach chairs and great towels to visit all of the nearby beaches. We loved the lanai and spent a lot of time there including having all of our meals outside. We slept with the windows open every night and didn't need the air conditioner as the condo is naturally cool. It is only 1.5 miles from downtown or a mile from Kahaluu Beach Park. Great location. Booked a Kona Isle condo through Kona Coast Vacations. They made the process simple as well as saving money by not having a booking fee. They provided us a list of restaurant and activity listing as well as sending information a head of time to make our trip good. We definitely would use them again next year for another rental. The unit was small, but was perfect for 2 people. Rooms were very clean. The view was amazing from the lanai and spent hours just watching and taking pictures of the waves.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Kona Isle E21. It's a lovely condo, tastefully decorated and very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything in "like-new" condition. The bed mattress is very supportive. Even the lanai furniture is comfortable! There are those little extras, too: games, playing cards, Hawaiian themed books. The beautiful oceanfront setting was amazing. The lanai was the perfect place for breakfast in the mornings and watching the sunset in the evenings. We loved the view and being able to hear the sound of the waves in every room. The grounds and pool are very well maintained. There's a lending library on site. Kona Coast Vacations was easy to work. Booking the property was a breeze. There was an issue with the TV and a friendly KCV staffer talked us through it over the phone.

It was very clean and well stocked. It had every appliance and utensil you could need. The location was excellent and close to the market and shops. The oceanfront view was fantastic and a good price for the location. I loved the decor and felt comfortable there. The check in was extremely easy and I liked the electronic entry so I never had to worry about losing a key. It was also nice that there is an onsite manager for issues if needed. My only complaints are that the bedroom was very hot even with the a/c. There was a fan in the closet that helped a little. And for some reason there is a landline phone in there that actually rang twice at 1130 PM and awoke and scared me. I just didn't answer it. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Kona.

We had the most amazing time at the property on Ali'i drive in May. The condo was amazing. Had everything we needed and then some. Awesome views and incredible accommodations. The space allowed us and our guests to have our own master bedrooms. The Kona Coast staff was so responsive and was able to take care of a couple of issues within just a couple hours. Our seven week stay was awesome. Condo equipped with everything we needed. Updated bathroom and plenty of towels, sheets, etc... for our stay. Brian keeps the grounds and pool area beautiful as well. It’s a very friendly atmosphere with owners/renters of the other condos. We Look forward to our stay next year in E21!

Super Appartement, Sicht direkt aufs Meer. Ca. 2km vom Zentrum und den Restaurants entfernt, hatte aber trotzt Ironman immer genügend Parkplätze im Zentrum (ausser am Renntag, Ironman). Kona Coast Vacation ist immer sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Werde sicher wieder bei Kona Coast Vacation buchen.

The condo was beautiful. It was very comfortable and well equipped. The view is spectacular!! We hope to be back someday.

This is a wonderful condo with a fantastic view! We were grateful for the air conditioning, but wished it made it to the bedroom. We did buy a fan, which we left in the closet, and that helped bring some air to the bedroom. There is wifi, but it is extremely slow. We used our own data.This is a great place and we would definitely stay again.You guys have great service!

This was a wonderful unit! This was our first time renting a unit at Kona Isle. We had to book last minute because our previous VRBO fell through and this unit at Kona Isle met and exceeded all our expectations. The unit was clean and newly furnished. There were boogie boards and beach towels available for use. Though it would be nice if beach chairs and snorkel gear were also available as we had to rent those. We would absolutely stay here again. The ocean view is amazing and we watched whales and surfers from our lanai every morning while eating breakfast before heading out to the beach. We also loved all the other wonderful people who own units at Kona Isle. We felt welcomed and loved on by all our neighbors! The keyless lock entry was perfect so we never had to worry about leaving or losing a room key. While it would have been nicer to be closer to Kona so we could walk to town for dinner that is our only complaint.
